Malia's POV
Stiles and I were running, faster than I had ever ran in a long time. My heart slammed against my chest, and my legs were throbbing with effort, I almost thought I was going to collapse until I felt Stiles hand on my back pushing my forward only slightly. The small act reminded me what was a stake and I managed to push myself forward.
I heard the loud shouts coming behind sending chills down my spine, and the very, bone chilling, sound of a gun being fired.
"Stiles!" I gasped, my lungs burning, and he slowed only slightly.
"Mal? What's wrong." He responds, concerned tainted his voice as he managed to look over to me and I didn't need to say a single word. He got the messaged from my worn out state. He closed his eyes and I saw the pain in his face as he quickly grabbed my hand and together we turned around to face the horrid sound of the man in the alleyway.
1 Hour Earlier
"This is pointless." I say lamely as Stiles only laughed and shook his head. Together we both were heading into a very loud club. Stiles claimed it was were most criminals go to get a drink or rest without the fear of the police showing up.
"I told you already, I need to talk to an old friend." He says smoothly as he beckens me to follow him faster.
"Friend? Or an old enemy?" I scoff causing Stiles to roll his eyes.
"Maybe both, but just trust me Mal." He says before pushing me through the door and into the club.
I was first hit with colour and the steady sound of music. Sweaty bodies were jumping up and down to the music and others sat on the sidelines talking, smiles painted some faces and scowls others. I quickly glanced over to Stiles as he seemed to be studying everyone, confusion crossed his face when I girl came dancing up to him.
"Hey, cutie! Who are you?" She asked innocently, bating her large, obviously fake, eyelashes. She seemed to be completely ignoring me standing right next to him.
"Uh, Stiles?" Stiles says, sounding more like a question than an answer. But before the barbie could say anything else I grab Stiles hand and pull him with me into the crowd.
"Care for a dance, Mr. Trickster." I tease as Stiles raises an eyebrow;
"Bring it on coyote." He snarks back, causing me to smirk at him and pull him into the crowd of dancing people.
Quickly Stiles hands found my waist as he pulled my closer to him, his breath fanning my face. I began swaying to the music as I wrapped my arms around Stiles neck and glanced shyly up into his golden like eyes. My fingers sprawled upwards and started to get tangled in the base of his hair, as he only clung tighter to my waist.
"Who knew the infamous coyote loved dancing." He mused into my ear causing shivers to dance down my back. however I quickly gathered myself together.
"Who knew the badass, no one can catch him, infamous Trickster. Is the most awkward human on earth." I challeged back causing Stiles to chuckle.
"Note taken." He mumbles before ducking his head and slamming his lips to mine. My eyes widened, I stumbled slightly by his force but his arms holding onto my waist kept me up. Instantly I could feel myself melting into his kiss, and the small bit of complete joy he would bring out in my sparked up again. Sadly he pulled away and pressed his forehead to mine, his eyes fluttering up to meet mine.
"That was fast." I muttered, still feeling the ghost of his lips on mine.
"Sorry your witty comebacks make you really kissable." He laughs back and I smile. A true, genuine smile. Something I haven't done in a long time, meeting Stiles changed my from the dark girl. Into someone who had some light, I could see the good in things again.
He gave me hope.
Stiles soon pulled me to the side as we began searching the bar. "What does he look like?" I asked.
"She! She's a she Mal." He says quickly, I couldn't help but feel a spike a jealousy but I kept it down. "Uh red hair, kinda strawberry blonde I guess." I nod my head at his description.
"Got it." I muttered as I scanned the crowd, but it seemed she found us first.
"Stiles! Trickster! I'm not sure what you want to be called." A girly voice yells, I turn to see the red head bob into view. She had a warm smile on her face as she brought Stiles into a hug. "Who's this!" She chips and smiles at me.
"Oh, she's coyote-
"Malia, my names Malia." I cut Stiles off and offered a hand to the girl to shake, she took it with a smile on her face.
"Lydia." She says before turning to Stiles passing him what looked like a key. "Lets get to business, since I don't have much time. Last I heard was the wolf pack is in New York. So your on the right track I give you two that. Be careful, Stiles, they don't like foxes anymore. Peter wants his daughter, and he wants her now." Lydia says motioning to me. "Show the the key and they'll know its from me, it shows I trust you. So maybe they'll wait a bit before loading bullets into you."
"Thanks Lyds, honestly it means a lot." He says and Lydia smiled.
"Your a good guys Stiles, you just tend to be a jackass at times." She mutters and I snort. Lydia turned to me and a smile spread across her face. "I like her." She says simply.
My heart warmed at her remark. Lydia moves up to me a brings me into a hug;
"Hope to see you around girly, even if your one the run with him." She pauses before coming closer to me a lowered her voice to a whisper. "Saw you two on the dance floor, super cute. But be careful, the Wolf Pack really doesn't like him." She finishes before waving to Stiles goodbye.
"I like her." I say simply as Stiles laughs.
"Everyone likes Lydia Martin." He says before tugging me with him.
The voice cuts through the crowd causing Stiles to stop.
"Is that you Stilinski?" The voice sounds like a snarl and Stiles face pales, he doesn't even turn around and only begins pushing me harder.
"I'm gonna kill you!" The voice yells again and now Stiles has grabbed my hand and were running. He voice sounds male and it sounds like he's running too. Quickly Stiles pushes the door open and practically drags me with him.
"I'm going to murder you!" The sound of a gun shot confirmed his very thought. I watch as Stiles grabs something from his pocket and our grazes lock.
A gun.

And here we are, standing together, at the dead end of and alleyway. The man appears from around the corner, he has floppy black hair. He stands with a gun drawn, his face in a sinister smiles as he stares at us both.
"Well, well, well. The Trickster has no moves do ya? Thats right, I remembered you." His voice is sneer as he stares Stiles down, I feel Stiles begin to pull me behind him.
"Donavan, I get your mad. But I didn't kill them, I swear. I appreatiate you not telling anyone that I'm the Trickster. But you don't need to kill me." Stiles tries to say calmly. But The boy- Donavan, didn't seem to be listening. His eyes were wild and whatever Stiles did, the boy was going crazy over it.
"I'll kill you! No! I'll kill her!" He says motioning to me behind Stiles. I watch as Stiles lowered his head, his eyes darkening.
"Your not touching her." He snarls and Donavan laughs.
"Watch me." He raises the gun but Stiles is faster, he whips the gun he had behind his back;
And fired.
