"So my mother registered me into Westfield high school and I am not mentally ready for school once again.
At least it is the weekend so I can have little time to explore my new house."As the morning went by you helped your parents unpack and decorate. Your parents also hired a maid. Which was weird? After that you went to the kitchen to get a small snack.
"You must be the (last name)'s kid? You are a very beautiful child." A women with old fashioned blonde hair said.
"Umm... yes, who are you?" You said startled that a strange women is in your kitchen.
"I am Constance your new neighbor, we have got to get well acquainted. So I started off making these, are you hungry?" Constance said holding a plate of sweets.
"Yes actually... I am."
Constance put the plate on the table and you took a fresh cookie that was flower shaped and ate it.
"This is good, thank you ma'am." You said politely.
"Yes, hmm... where is your mother?" She said getting up after leaning on the table.
"I'll get her for you." You said walking out of the kitchen. You went into the living room to find your mother reading one of her many books.
"Mom, a lady named Constance is in the kitchen."
Your mother put her book down.
"Constance, the lady from yesterday." She said speaking to herself, walking towards the kitchen.
You sat down on the sofa and looked through your phone for any new messages or notifications. After seeing nothing you turned the screen off. Then you noticed in the reflection there was an unfamiliar face.
"What the?" You softly whispered turning around. But there was no one there.~~~ ~~ ~~~~
In my phone there was a strange reflection, and honestly it kind of scared me. It, looked like a boy.
I decided to go to my room and relax awhile. I started to go on my computer and play some music.
"Hello." An unfamiliar voice spoke.
You looked up towards your door to see a blonde haired boy about your age.
"Who are you?" You asked.
"My name is Tate, Langdon... I'm your neighbor." Tate said smiling a bit.
You got up from your bed slowly.
"It's nice to meet you Tate, my name is (y/n)..." You said walking towards him. You stuck your hand out wanting to shake his.
"I uh, seen your family move in yesterday... it seems like you're not afraid." He said ignoring your hand, walking into your room. You watched him look at your stuff on your shelf and taking note of your room.
"What do you mean by, not afraid?" You asked wondering what he meant by that. What should you have been afraid of?
Tate looked at you and walked towards you. He came close to you face inches from yours.
"The ghosts that live here, or... are you unaware?" He said backing up putting his hands in his pockets.
"Ghosts, hmm... no I didn't know that." You said nonchalantly.
"Should I tell you about the last people that lived here?" He asked sitting on your bed.
You walked over to your bed and sat beside him.
"Yeah, since my parents never told me about. I'd like to know."
Tate looked at you and half smiled.
"Well, it was a gay couple that lived here... supposedly they were fighting and the guy shot his boyfriend and after that himself. It's pretty gruesome. But it's not as bad as the others stories." Tate said.
You looked at him and wondered if what he said was true. Well, you really didn't believe in ghosts, and you weren't scared.
"So are you scared?" He asked bumping his shoulder against yours playfully.
"Actually, no... That's kind of sad. I wonder if they are together now, forever..." You responded looking at the ceiling wondering if your words are true. Tate stared at you. Knowing well that they are in fact together in this house. You turned towards him to say something but the way he was looking at you stopped you from talking.
"Maybe you should go home, Tate. How did you get in here anyway?"
You asked standing up walking towards the door.
"Well I just let myself in, but your right I should leave." He said walking towards the door. He stopped and looked at you.
"Can I come over tomorrow? Just to hang out. It gets pretty lonely in this house." Tate asked twiddling with a piece of his hair.
"Yeah I guess, around this time if you'd like." You answered. Then you thought about what he said.
Lonely? How would he know?
"Wait what do you-" you didn't finish your sentence because he had already left.I swear is this how the neighborhood is? Walking into people's houses without a notice?
