[A remix of the season 1 Theme Song plays.
[Montage of an epic battle—the combined forces of good versus Gormangach's forces of evil. They are deep within the anti-magic field surrounding the black tower, so none of their magic works. So the battle is up-close and brutal.
[The forces of good push forward through the battlefield like a spear-tip. Heavy knights of each order defend the formation, using swords and shields to bash and cut through the legions of undead and liquid shadow. Instead of magic, the mages hurl bombs of powder and fire overhead.
[The camera pans through the carnage to the front of the noble forces, where Truck-kun and Gabriel stand shoulder to shoulder with other leaders of the orders. Truck-kun is in its truck warrior form. Its high beams and powerful frame carve a path through the evil legions. Despite being half Truck-kun's height, Gabriel fights with equal ferocity, inspiring nearby troops.
[Morden and Maester Wizzlegrimp are close behind, hurling bombs over the heads of the enemy horde. Phoebe the Phoenix swoops low, breathing flames on the undead that dare reach for the maester.
[The montage of epic battle continues. Clearly, a large part of the animation budget was saved for this sequence. Though die-hard fans will still point out places where costs were cut...
[The camera pans upward, revealing the menacing black tower. The lich, Gormangach, stands at the top, looking down over the battlefield. Instead of fighting, he waits. His face is unreadable behind the jagged armor.]
Maester Wizzlegrimp shouted, "We're almost to the tower's anti-magic shield! Truck-kun be ready with your package!"
[Together, Truck-kun, Gabriel, and the other forces of good fight to the edge of the shimmering barrier. Then Truck-kun opens a compartment in its torso and pulls out the package. Morden darts forward and grabs the package from Truck-kun and hand-delivers it to Maester Wizzlegrimp.
[The maester runs his fingers across the runes and mutters an incantation. The runes glow brighter and brighter until the undead legions begin backing away and nearby soldiers avert their eyes.
[Through the blinding light, the barrier surrounding the tower begins to warp and, finally, to crack. The tower's barrier gives way with a cracking sound, like a cathedral's worth of windows shattering all at once. When the light clears, there is a jagged gap in the barrier and realize that inside the anti-anti-magic field, their magic has returned.
[There's a new bubble around them—this time emanating from Truck-kun's package. The air looks clear, like a fog has lifted. Morden and the other mages glance around, realizing that their magic has returned. Immediately, the air crackles with magic—fire, ice, lightning, and arcane purple. Magical blasts and explosions lance out in all directions, decimating nearby enemies. Cheers echoed.
[The package sizzles with heat, and Maester Wizzlegrimp quickly pushes it into his apprentice's arms. Morden winces, but keeps hold of it.]
The maester amplified his voice so that it boomed over the battlefield. "Forward!"
[The forces of good push forward, Truck-kun and the others leading the fight to the tower doors. The outer wall of the tower is jagged, covered in living obsidian and dripping with liquid shadow. As they get close, the anti-anti-magic field strips away the moving layers, revealing pitted brick beneath.
[Truck-kun revs its engine, throwing a pulse of smoke into the air. Then, Truck-kun lowers its shoulder and charges through the main door. The gnarled wood cracks in half, the pieces shattering across the entryway.
[Cheers echo from behind them, but the battle isn't over yet.
[The entryway of the tower is wide and open, like an ominous cathedral. The surfaces inside are all covered with liquid shadow, which evaporates as the anti-anti-magic field touches it. Minions of darkness linger at the corners of the light, swaying like iron filings near a magnet.
