Chapter 12

My eyes sparkled behind my sunglasses as they scaled the city off New York, this was mad! I was standing at the top off a giant green lady in the middle off manhattan with the most amazing boyfriend in the world, I couldn't be happier.

"I'm sorry" Niall whispered turning to face me.

"What for?" I laughed left confused by his question.

"Breaking up with you all those years ago,it was the stupidest thing I'd ever done" he confirmed.

"Are you crazy babe! It's probably the best thing you've ever done, wanna know why. Because we wouldn't be here right now! "

"I love you" he sweetly kissed me slipping those words in between.

I felt bad but I had to stop,I went numb ,I felt paralysed, i couldn't move. That man with the red hat was standing directly into my eyes as he stood behind Niall.

"What's wrong,babe are you okay?" He screamed at me although I was still obliviously staring over his shoulder, Niall shook me out out off the trance I was forced into by my fear. The silhouette was gone when I looked back up.

"I-I ,nothing. It's not you just my mind playing tricks on me" I stuttered.

Niall threw his arm over my shoulder holding me tight knowing something was wrong. We set off in search off harry and Louis who had gone walk about around the tall structure.

We finally found them strolling around the gift shop trying on ridiculous hats and costumes. Harry handed me and Niall a foam crown and plastic torch just like the women's standing before us.

"Here you go! Me and Lou bought yous a present each!" Harry laughed.

"These are great! I love them ,thanks lads" Niall creased.

"Let's take a picture off you two love birds wearing your new accerserios infront off the statute of liberty herself!" Louis jumped up and down excitedly as I handed him my phone to snap a photo of us as we all made our way outside into the breezy sunny New York City day.

"You can tweet it now Lil" Louis said handing me back the phone. Me and Niall pressed our heads together as we scammed the photo on the screen below us to see my new favourite photo- it consisted off me with my arms wrapped around Nialls middle his toned arms holding me from over my shoulder and we had the biggest smiles on our faces with our stupid foam crowns on oh and the Statue of Liberty just happens to be photo bombing in the background! I wasn't planning on tweeting it but I loved it so I couldn't resist!

On our way back to the hotel in the taxi I uploaded the photo to twitter with a caption reading 'most amazing time in NYC today with my baby @NiallOfficial' . I pressed tweet without any hesitation! Within minutes I had hundreds off replies, even more after Niall quote retweeted it five minutes after saying 'love you,thanks for giving me a good day!' Despite the fact he was sitting next to be he still felt the need to tell me over twitter!

I scrolled through my mentions one catching my eye in peticular - ' who is that man? He's scary' and there he was yet again. The figure that sent shivers down my spine,who was this man?

"Are you okay?" Niall asked cuddling me after noticing I'd been shaken up by something, harry and Louis both twisted around and turned back from the front off the taxi to find out what was going on.

"Niall look ,it's him. Iv seen him three times now today" showing Niall the picture he raised an eyebrow.

"Are you sure Lilly"

"I'm sure Niall,I saw him in the corridor in the hotel, when we were kissing at the top off the statue and now in this photo" my lips trembled.

Harry and louis glared at one an other and carried on without saying a word.

"Didn't we see him last night to?" Niall added , I nodded my face now slightly pale.

"Let us know if you see him again okay? And well let management and security know!" Harry quickly said a little louder than he had anticipated to.

We had now pulled up outside the hotel blinding by yet more cameras,I pulled my sunglasses down over my face joined by all the boys doing the same as we clambered out the car and up the stairs into the lobby.
