It was the middle of second day on the road and I was getting super excited. With each mile we passed, my excitement grew. Right now I was somewhere in Utah and it look the same. I was getting annoyed with the scenery, it didn't look like it was changing much. I just wanted something new, different. I was told near Wyoming area it would change.

I was sitting there talking to my mom again about the most random things. It was actually really fun, me and mom are really close so it was easy to tell her how I felt and what was going on.

"So honey, do you think you'll find a guy now?" my mom asks me. She's kind of weird on that subject. Most parents hate it when their children date or have a significant other but my mom encourages it. "No, mom. I don't think so, it just seems useless." Even though the thought of someone could actually like or love me for being myself is intriguing, I would hate to be crushed. "Why not? You are beautiful and any boy would be lucky to have you." I just got the usual relative talk, and I have heard many times before. I was sick of it by now.

"It's uo to you but I think you should at least try." She said before ending our talk and turning up the music.

I woke up and looked at the clock, 6:27 am. It was officially day three, aka last day, of this trip. Today I would finally be at my new home.

I looked out the window and the only thing I could see was trees and more trees. They were so beautiful, I could definitely get use to this. I stared out the window for what felt like ages just admiring the new scenery.

"This is absolutely breath taking, Mom." I told her in complete aw.
"Isn't it though. Been like this for the last 2 hours." She said with a hint of happiness in her words.
"How much longer until we are actually there?" I asked because let's face it, this moving truck is small and uncomfortable after 3 days.
"We have only about 20 minutes to the town. Where we will be stopping to get breakfast." Which got me even more excited.

In those 20 minutes I got everything together and tried to make myself look presentable but come on, I don't have much to work with here. After 5 minutes of trying I thought I looked okay enough and got my phone out. I went onto snapchat and took a picture of this beautiful highway. I put it on my story and saved it to my phone. ((Picture on the side))

Once we got to the town I was shocked at the actual size of it. I need it was small but this is tiny. I think I saw a sign that said the population was 3,460 people. That will make this very quite interesting. We made our way down Main Street. We found a cute and bustling cafe type restaurant. We took a seat and looked through the menu.

I ended up ordering 2 pancakes and my mom got the french toast. When our food got to us though I was in shock. The menu might say  two pancakes but they were the size of four. I was most definitely not going to be able to finish this.

After breakfast, which I ate half of, we got back in the moving truck and went to find the resort. It took about 15 minutes because apperently we took the longer way but go gorgeous views from it so I was happy. The resort was quaint and cute. It was definitely a new adventure with a lake across the street and woods in the back. I couldn't be more than happy to restart my life here.

---

We started to unpack our things when we realized we should have thought this through more. Almost all of our clothes were in the way back of the truck, so now we have to get everything out today just to get clothes for tomorrow. This shall be fun... not. Between me and my mom we have to move all our boxes of random crap, two desks, three beds, four book shelves and so much more.

Not even half an hour later I'm already fed up with this. I'm seriously thinking about going and asking the first person I see to help us. Just then a car comes driving by, they rolled down the window to where I could barely see who it was.

From what I could see it was two boys around my age. One with brown shaggy hair and the other with lighter brown and shorter hair. "Hey, would you by chance like some help?" The brown haired one asked me.
"Umm... if you'd like to, I'd appreciate it." I'm not used to this whole random people are nice thing because in California everyone stays to themselves and you never went out of your way to help.
They got out of the car and walked over to me. "Hey, I'm James ." Said the brown haired boy. Up close I could see he had green eyes that had so much color in them I could get lost. Stop staring in his eyes you freak, I told myself. "And I'm Adam, nice to meet you." Said the lighter brown haired boy. His eyes were a mix of blue and gray, not super bright but seemed as if they sparkled in the right lighting.
"Hi James, hey Adam. My name is Victoria, but you can call me Tori." I didn't really like my full name, it made me sound older, more classy.
