Wildest Dreams

Chapter 5

We stopped at the house and I got my swimming bag together. In it is a towel, sunglasses, sun screen, and my phone. I put on my teal bikini and a white cover. I slipped on some flip flops and ran downstairs.
James and Adam dropped me off to get their things and will be back to pick me up. I went outside to wait because it was nice out.
"Where are you going ?" My mom asked from the lodge window.
"Adam and James are taking me on an adventure!" I called back.
"Okay. Have fun and be safe, I love you!" She said waving and when I turned around I saw why she waved. They pulled up at that moment and I got super excited.
"Jump on in Tori. Let's go on our adventure!" Adam called from the drivers side window. James was in the back and Adam was driving. I hopped in and we took off.
It was about a 30 minute drive and we were out in the middle of no where. The entire time out here we had the radio on and we're singing super loudly. We turned on the a dirt road and were in it for about 10 minutes when we pulled into a parking lot. A lodge was across from us and buildings all around, it looked similar to our resort but more out of town.

We got out of the car and I followed the boys into the lodge. It was bigger than ours and had a restaurant type thing added on. James walked up the man behind the counter and asked him about a boat rental for the day into the BWCA. What's the BWCA?
"Adam, come here could ya ?" I asked him.
"What's up?" He asked when he got to me.
"I gotta few questions. First where are we ?" That was the important thing. I had no idea where we were and what we were doing.
" We. My friend, are on Snowbank Lake." He told me with his amazing smile on his face.
I returned the smile and asked my second question "Okay, and what is the BWCA?"
"BWCA stands for Boundary Waters Canoe Area. It's a group of lakes in Minnesota and Canada that are preserved as much as possible by the government." Adam told me. I didn't quite understand but I understood it was lakes and that ment fun to me.
"Alright guys we are boat number 12. Let's get the fun started." James yelled on his way out the door. We stopped at the car again and James grabbed a cooler, Adam got their bags and I got mine.

Basically, we were on the opposite side of the lake where nobody was around. We got everything out of the boat and on to a rock cliff. I still didn't know what we were doing but I was definitely excited about whatever it was.
Just then Adam took of his shirt and let my just say, damn. He was in great shape and had an amazing 6 pack of abs. He walked over to the edge and jumped off, landing in the water. I was scared to death when he took forever to come up.
Then about 15 seconds later he showed up farther into the bay.
I turned to James and said "That was so cool. Can I try it ?" It was just the thrill and adventure I needed.
"Of course. That is why we're here isn't it ?" He said with a laugh.
"Would you mind going first?" Sure it'd be a thrill but I don't want to do it wrong either.
He didn't say anything after that, just walked to the edge and pushed off landing in the water moments later. I walked over and watched from above waiting for him to come up for air. When he did he yelled for me to go.
I looked down and saw Adam smile up at me and yelled to me encouraging words. I took a deep breath and jumped.

Well. The picture is of my friend I took this summer. I couldn't find mine so that'll do.

It's literally the most fun I have ever had. I definitely encourage you to put it on your bucket list
