I sighed and slid off my bunk bed and headed off to do my chores. Everyday it was the same old routine. You wake up, do your chores, then get dressed, eat breakfast, then wait until dinner, then you go right back to sleep. The next morning is the same deal.

My roommate's name is this girl name Lucy. She has chestnut brown hair and green eyes. We don't talk much because all we do is chores, but she's cool to be around. She was sound asleep on her bed. I decided to wake her up or she was going to get in trouble by our guardian.

Oh by the way my name is Annabeth Chase. I'm 16 years old. I'm an orpan here at the orphanage. I have blonde hair and grey eyes. My parents were killed when I was 3. I can't really tell you how they were killed, but all you have to know is that they're dead.

I shook Lucy awake and she stirred a little bit. I then started to violently shake her. She jerked her head up quickly and bumped my head.

"Ow." We both said at the same time. I rubbed my forehead and backed away from her bed.

"Why did you do that?" She asked.

"You need to start your chores or you'll get in trouble." I answered. She stood up and headed out the door. I followed her into the kitchen and started to do the dishes with her.

"I'm sick of this." She said. I nodded.

"I know how you feel. We never get to go out in the real world or do something exciting." I said. She nodded and sighed.

"I just wish that we could get some freedom in this place." She told me. Wow, she gets me. We both feel the same way about this place. We both been here when we were 3.

"Ouit talking and more cleaning!" Our guardian Hannah said. I rolled my eyes. Hannah has blonde hair and brown eyes. She never really cared about any of us. She just has this job to get money.

When were finished with the dishes we moved on to the next section until we were done with everything. The other girls didn't have to clean because Lucy and I snuck out two weeks ago, so we have to do all the cleaning for a month.

Bye the time we finished breakfast time was over. Hannah could have a little bit of human decency and let us eat the most important meal of the day at least.

Lucy and I had to wait until it was finally dinner to eat something. I might be 82 pounds, but I have a big appetite.

"Why don't we sneek out again." Lucy suggested.

"Last time we got caught. We weren't home in time." I said.

"What if I told you that we could go out to a party and there would be cute boys there?" She asked. I smirked.

"Then I'd say I'm in." I said. She smiled.

"Get dressed. We're gonna have some fun." She said. I smiled and walked over to our closet we share.

"If we're going to a party where there are cute boys, then we need to dress real nice." I said. She walked next to me and picked out to outfits. One had a short sleeve blue v-neck shirt with denim shorts and black combat boots. The other one was the same outfit, but with and red shirt.

I took the blue one and got dressed. I wore and blue bandana to go with. When I was finished getting dressed Lucy was already done getting ready. She too wore a red bandana. Sometimes I think we should be twins.

We climbed out the window and jumbed down. We did this so many times that it was a piece of cake. We ran down the street and she we walked down the road where the rich kids live. We only been here once. The kids are really snobby here. They go to a private school called Goode. I mean what kind of name for a school is that?

We entered a house where a lot of kids were partying. Some of them were drunk, some of them were on the verge of being drunk.
Lucy looked at me and I looked at her.

"Let's party!" We said. I went inside the middle of the dance floor. Lucy went straight to the snack table. Now this was one of the best parties ever.

While I was dancing there was a boy who was leaning on the wall staring at me suspiciously. He had black hair and green eyes. I nervously waved at him and walked off to Lucy.

"That boy over there is getting on to me." I told her. She looked over at him and smiled.

"I can tell. He's looking right back at us." She replied. Her eyes widen.

"What?" I asked.

"He's coming over." She said. I tried to hide behind a group of teenagers, but I failed miserably.

"Hey, you too." He said. I pretended to talk to some of the teenagers. Thankfully they were drunk, so they didn't understand me and they were saying some weird stuff.

He pulled Lucy and I over to a place where there weren't to many teens.

"Do you two belong here because I don't remember inviting you?" He asked. Lucy looked at me to say something. I looked at her and nodded.

"Run!" I yelled. We both headed towards the door. On our way to the door we past the snack table. We both grabbed something and ran out. Once we were away from that house we started to laugh.

"Cheers!" She said as she put up her food in the air. I joined her and we ate.

"We're so hilarious." I said. She nodded. "What time is it?" I aksed. She checked her watched. Her face scrunched up and her eyebrows were knitted together.

"We won't get caught if we run as fast as we can." She said. We ran down the street. We probably looked like maniacs with our arm waving around as we ran. We climbed up the window and made our way into our room.

"We made it." I said. She nodded and sat down.

"Dinner!" Hannah yelled. I shook my head and walked down with Lucy. I sat down next to Lucy and this girl named Riley. Riley was an annoying red headed with blue eyes. She thinks she's all that, but seriously she needs to get a life.

Once all the girls were at the table Hannah told us she had an announcement.

"So as you know you girls have been homeschooled for awhile. I decided that all of you except Lucy and Annabeth will be going to a public school." She said.

"That's not fair!" I said. She smirked.

"You didn't let me finish. You and Lucy will be going to a private school. Called Goode." She said. Lucy and I hate private schools and she knows that.

"Why do they get to go to a private school while we go to some weird public school?" Riley asked.

"Because I say so." She said. This is so not fair. It's cruel, but clever thinking.

"I wish we could choose." I muttered.

"You'll be starting school tomorrow. Lucy and Annabeth, your uniform will be delivered tomorrow. As for your school supplies it will be delivered tomorrow too." She said. "You are dismissed."
