chapter 2: Magic in the Air

//HOSHIKO'S POV//

It's been a few days since Mother and Father have told us about the arranged marriage. Although, Kaivo and I don't know who they are, they said that we'd meet our fiancé later in the week at the ball. Mother also said that we would have some "old friends" at the party. To which Mother gave an evil laugh and a smirk before slipping off to work at the studio.

Which can lead to many things:

1.) she had done the dirty with dad

2.) she's already created a beautiful, which in reality is horrid, wedding ceremony

3.) she is making me and Kaivo get married to Hikaru and Kaoru

So me and Kaivo had made the conclusion that it is #2 because we don't want to imagine our parents reproducing. No. Just. No.

//KAIVO'S POV//

"Ne, Nee-sans. What if you marry Hikaru and Kaoru?" Our little brother, Heiko, by 5 years asked us. Kaivo and I sighed as we looked at each other.
"Heiko, I honestly believe that mother is not that horrid." Hoshiko said bluntly.
"But Hikaru-nii and Kaoru-nii aren't that bad, though!" Heiko shouted pouting. Which is true they weren't that bad, but if they married us, it's not that we DON'T want to. Of course not. We're just not emotionally ready for marriage. Like, that's a whole new level of commitment, but if we need it for money and the company. We will do it.

time skip to the ball*

//???'S POV//

I can't believe that I have to go to this stupid ball. I never even wanted an arranged marriage. I never wanted to get married at all! But here I am in the limo going to the ball with my family. I just hope that she's not that bad.

//KYOTO'S POV//

We arrived at the Himura household, where the ball will be held, because their house is just THAT big. This will also be the night where I meet my fiancé. I've been trying to ask my father since I am his favorite, but despite my social hierarchy in the family he did not tell me. Not even a hint where I can research upon.

I sighed.

As we walked towards the big brown double doors to the house, practically a mansion, my father turned to me and said, "Tonight will be magical." and walked inside.

I didn't understand what he meant by "Tonight will be magical." What did that mean? What would it mean?

//THIRD PERSON'S POV//

The girls all met up together in the corner of the ballroom. They caught up on things. Although on the other side of the ballroom stood the ex-hosts (because there is no such thing as a host club in college... yet (; ) talking to each other.
Tamaki had not told the boys that the girls were here. Yes, Tamaki knew that they were here and that they were in an arranged marriage.
Did he know with who? No.
Did he want to know? Yes.

Suddenly the lights dimmed down and the spotlight was on and the booming sound of Mr. Himura said. "Tonight will be magical. Tonight my daughters will meet their betrothed."
The spotlight went on the girls, "Behold, the daughters of Himura Design Agency. And their betrothed," the spotlight suddenly shone down on Hikaru and Kaoru, "The Hitachiin Brothers!"
The boys and the girls looked at each other. They walked towards each other, the spotlight following from above, and they looked into each other's eyes.

"Nice to meet you." They all said in unison.

Soon they all exposed the fiancés to the girls and they were all surprised.

Hikaru would marry Hoshiko
Kaoru would marry Kaivo
Kyoya would marry Kyoto
Honey/Mitsukini would marry Hatsu/Michiko
Mori/Takashi would marry Moriko/Tama
And Tamaki and Haruhi are already engaged so that doesn't even matter right now.
