Hoshiko's POV

Shit. Fuck.

We don't have the cake.

"Hey it's going to be okay." Hikaru said as I felt him soothingly trace his fingers along my back.
I sighed, "And what if it's not?" I asked.
"If it's not. It's fine. As long as I'm with you." He said, wrapping me with his arms from behind.
I sighed into his touch.
"Here. Glass of water?" he asked, handing me one, "Might help calm down the nerves." he said with that smile that I loved.
"Okay." I said, then drank the water.

Then all of a sudden...

Blackness.

Where am I?
Dead?
Where.

I wake up. The floor of the church. Dress torn to shreds. What happened? And why am I here?

I try to remember what happened before I blacked out.

Hikaru.

Where's Hikaru?

We were about to get married. That's right. But then what happened?

Suddenly I see Layla come in. I see tears stain her cheeks.

"Layla. What happened?" I asked. As she drops beside me and sobs.
"Th-they us-used yo-u..." she said in between sobs. My eyes widened.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
She jumps up, "They used you! They used all of you. That stupid arranged marriage!" she screamed.

I felt my heart quicken. Did Hikaru use me? Is that what she's talking about?
I stood up as well, "W-who.. used us?" I asked hesitantly to Layla.
"Your parents! This entire arranged marriage! You thought their business was failing?! Of course not! You were a pawn! In their little game. They made you fall in love, then they break your heart! All because of them. I don't blame your parents... they didn't have any other choice... but I should've done something." she said as she cried.

I was confused.

"What are you talking about Layla?" I asked, "Are you saying Hikaru didn't love me?" I said, hoping I was wrong.
"No... No Hoshiko. He loved you. They all did. But those stupid lobelias..." she mumbled. Lobelias?!
"What do you mean?! What do they want?!" I asked.
Layla sighed, "They threatened your parents to start the engagement. Which would lead to the outcome of you falling in love. Then they'd crash the wedding. Take you away from them. And eventually... they'd force you to join the lobelias or else you won't see the guys again." Layla stated their plan.
"But then... Why wasn't I taken?" I asked.
Layla gave a small smile, "Hikaru was smart. Jeez, I'd think that Kyoya would've thought of this by now. Hikaru drugged you and hid you in the attic of the church. The Lobelias thought Kaivo was you and thought some other guest with a mask was Kaivo." she stated.
I was surprised.
"How was he able to drug me?" I asked.
"Do you remember that drink of water he gave you before the ceremony?" she asked.
Shit.
She nodded with a smirk, "Yup. Well, no dilly-dallying. I've already contacted my parents. Their security will help us find them." she said.
Wait.. Parents?!
"Wait hold on... PARENTS?!" I screamed.
Layla laughed, "Yup. Parents. They reached out to me a few days ago, I was surprised. I was so happy. But let's talk about that later. The helicopter is arriving soon so we must make a move on." she said as she dragged me outside where a distant helicopter was seen.
