Blackbird Blue-sweets

Over the weeks me and Remus became really good friends. I spent most of my study time with him and Lily sometimes came too.
"Cass.." Lily started as we were walking back from the library when we had done our essay, (Remus had gone to try and stop Sirius and James from turning people into animals with their sweets.)
"Yeah?"
"Do you like Remus?"
"Of course."
Lily stared at me. And I laughed, "Not like that!" I protested.
"Can't a girl have a boy who is a friend without everyone thinking they are together? He's great but he's just a friend. It's not like Molly and Arthur are going out, they're just besties. -let's just say that he is the boy version of you, I don't go asking you out do I?" I ranted.
She grinned and raised her hands up in mock surrender.
"Okay, calm down" She said.
I grinned too and we walked arm in arm to the common room.

We jumped onto our favourite arm chairs by the fire and begun to chat about lessons.
"Binns is sooo boring." I complained. "He should be retired, how old is he?" I demanded.
"No idea." She replied.
"Do you want to find out?" I asked.
"Why not?" She replied and we jumped up and walked out of the common room.
While we were walking halfway down a corridor, Peeves jumped out.
"Heya Cassy!" He giggled.
"W'sup Peeves?" I replied.
Lily stared at me.
"W'sup?" She asked.
"Yeah. Means what's up. It will be big next generation." I told her.
"Any how I sneaked a load of sweets and giving them to all my favourite people!" Peeves told me. He chucked us a sweet each then vanished.
Lily put hers in her mouth and I did soon after.
Suddenly, James, Sirius, Peter and Remus jumped out.
"Do you like our new blackbird blue-sweets?" James yelled and right beside me, Lils transformed into a blackbird.
I looked meaningfully at Remus then ran. As I turned a corner I felt heat erupt from my hands and my hair started to glow. Fire came from my fingertips and worked it's may up my sleeve. My arms started to burn and the fire spread all over me. I made it outside and ran over to behind Hagrid's hut and walked onto the edge of the forest.
My skin would stay like that for a few hours. It had happened once before when I had used a trick wand that tried to turn me into a mouse, I set fire to Hagrid's hut and made a load of pumpkins explode.
I tried not to touch anything or I would set it alight. I heard running footsteps and Remus came over to me.
"Stay back!" I called.
He ignored me and ran over.
"Remus I'll hurt you." I said.
"Your not as dangerous as a werewolf on the full moon" He said. "You helped me, I'm repaying the favour." He told me.
I sighed and laughed.
"Ever the defensive one" I said.
"As defensive as a wolf." He laughed.
I sat down and a circle of fire surrounded me. After a pause, Remus spoke. "What does water do?"
"It will contain my fire but I can get really weak and It has to be a lot of water. My flames would dry up about a tenth of the black lake and the whole castle would be engulfed by smoke if that happened." I told him.
"What about small water charms" He asked.
"They do nothing." I said.
"So only a lot of water can contain you." He asked.
"Yes but if too much water is poured on me I will weaken so much that I will die." I told him, "And Uncle Albus said that once my ashes are formed when I am dead, I will only be born again when I am 'needed'. So I could come back again in five days or a hundred years when everyone is dead." I said.
"Wow." Remus said.
"Yup" I said, popping the P.
"So what are you going to do?" Remus asked.
"Well... I was kind of hoping that you could get some water so I don't burn down the forest." I said. "And I want to see what Hagrid will do if his hut is covered in smoke." I said seriously.
Remus looked at me shocked and I just grinned. "Don't worry, a few puny drops of water won't kill me!" I laughed and he got his wand out.
He performed the spell and a load of water sprayed at me. Before it hit me it all erupted into steam.
We spent the next hour making a load of smoke go around Hagrid's house and then running when he came out.
Eventually my fire stopped and night was falling. We walked back up to the castle together and went back to the Gryfindoor common room. Waiting for us on one side of the room was Sirius, James and Peter, while Lily was obviously waiting for me as well but also trying to stay away from James.
"Ah, Remus you back?" Said Sirius with his feet resting on the table. "With Cass too.. Have fun?" He asked slyly.
"What are you on about?" I demanded and he just grinned like an idiot.
"Me and Remus are not going out!" I exclaimed.
Lily started to laugh and James joined in.
"We find the same things funny Lils, will you go out with me?" James asked.
Lily's laughing turned into chocking as she coughed out "No way!"
Sirius grinned and said, "Ah well James, your not as lucky as Remy here who has Cass."
I watched as Remus threw himself at the armchair that Sirius was occupying and laughed as both boys wrestled on the floor punching each other.
I laughed and grabbed Lily's arm and pulled her up to our dormitory. I jumped into bed and rapidly fell asleep, dreaming of flying through a burning forest....

Hey guys! Thanks for all the reads, comments and votes. I'm thinking of skipping a few years and just doing flashbacks to them because Cassy is not 'destined to fight Voldermort every year' so in some years it's not that exciting.
