The Pheonix Girl (Marauders fanfic) COMPLETED

Full Moon

I own nothing and no one apart from ' the pheonix girl ' and maybe a few other characters I might create.

Cassy Dumbledore P. O. V.

I had told Lily to go to the library to study without me because it was full moon. I had agreed to help Remus. As Madame Pomfrey led him to the womping willow I followed above, flying.
"Be careful Remus." Madam Pomfrey called as she turned back to the castle. I dived into the hole and followed Remus into the shreaking shack.
I flew in and perched on a manter piece.
Remus fell to the floor started writhing. I watched as his spine stretched and as he changed form. He screamed in agony and claws erupted from the inside of his skin. After his full transformation I could talk to him.
"Aaargh!" He howled/screamed.
"Remus!" I yelled/screeched.
He turned to me. "Who's Remus?" He snarled.
"You're Remus. You're a werewolf. You are Remus!" I screeched. "Remus isn't a monster, your not a monster!" I yelled. "Calm down!"
Remus snarled at me. "I'm not a monster!" He said determinedly.
"No you're not." I agreed. "You can't bite anyone." I said.
"No I won't!" he snarled. "I'm not a monster.
Suddenly the werewolf thirst for blood kicked in. He bit and scratched himself. He tore at the floor and created huge scratch marks.
"Remus!" I yelled. "Calm down"
"No" his werewolf side snarled.
I flew over. (Pheonixes can carry very heavy things A/N like in chamber of secrets.) I wrapped my claws around his back and lifted the werewolf off the ground.
"Calm down" I screeched and I shook him slightly. He fell limp and I put him down on the floor. "Sleep." I said and he fell asleep.
I perched on the mantel piece and put my head under my wing.

I awoke to see a fully dressed Remus in human form sitting on the floor. I transformed and looked at him.
He looked down and I sensed that something was wrong.
"What?" I asked him.
"I understand." He said.
"What?" I asked again.
"I understand if you don't want to be friends." He said dully.
"What the hell Remus, why wouldn't I want to be your friend?" I asked him.
"Well you've seen me like that so....." He started.
"Remus, I know as well as you that you did not choose this. I'm a pheonix child, I didn't choose to be. You didn't want to be bitten, It's not your fault. You can't change now so you might as well accept it." I told him sternly. "I personally don't give a damn that you are a werewolf."
He stared at me. "Do you really mean that?" He asked.
"Oh-my-gosh Remus yes I do!" I yelled at him.
I sighed and took his arm and dragged him towards the steps into the tunnel.
"I have to transform before anyone sees." I told him, "but.... I'm in a hyper mood. Do you want to have some fun?" I asked him.
"Well..." He started.
"I'll take that as a yes." and I transformed. I hovered above his head and grabbed his hands with my claws.
I lifted him up and flew as fast as I could through the tunnel. When we came to the end he reached and pressed the nott to stop the willow. I flew up and went really high.
Remus was holding on for dear life and I dived. We flew around and around, we went higher than the astronomy tower.
Remus was terrified.
"Cassy." He whimpered as we circled the top of the north tower.
"This is absolutely terrifying!" Remus squealed.
I sensed that he had had enough so I dived, plumeted from the top of North tower to the ground.
When I put Remus down he collapsed onto the floor and started puking his guts out.
I transformed back.
"Sorry, too much?" I said.
He rolled over on the ground to look at me.
"That was very exhilarating but bloody terrifying." He squeaked.
I smiled.
"Should we go back to the castle?" I asked.
"After I've finished vomiting." Remus said.
Eventually he stood up and I accompanied him in Pheonix form back to the hospital wing (Madame Pomfrey's orders that he had to go back there for a check up in the morning.)
I wished him goodnight and flew back into the common room and fell asleep.
