MOM!

Elsa's POV

My mom stopped the car in front of her restaurant. Yup she owns a restaurant. Its a small,cozy place, and family friendly.

My mother is an excellent cook. I on the other hand was a somewhat okay cook. I have my own dream. I dream of becoming a architecture designer.

Both me and my mother got out of the car and entered through the back door of her restaurant.

There wasn't a lot of staff. Only my mother, another cook, and two other waitresses. I'm a waitress as well but I have a part time job. Only till I start collage. Just this year and that's it I'm off to collage.

I put on my uniform in the owners office and I made my braid into a bun. I stepped out of the office and checked into my shift.

My mother was cooking with the other cook and I was attending some customers. I took a glance at the clock on the wall. Only 3:26, the lunch rush is over. Soon less and less people entered. I sighed to my self an went behind the counter.

4:45 and only a few people have been entering. Its not going to be long till the dinner rush starts.

Ring

The bell that was on top of the door went off. Meaning Meaning someone entered. I looked at the entrance and my jaw dropped.

Jack fudging Frost! And his family entered my mothers restaurant!

I stayed frozen in plac and stared at the Frost family sitting in a family booth.

"Ahem"

I turned back and saw the other waitress raising a brow at me.

"Go get the family's order. I'll get the next" she said and turned her heel walking away.

I took out my note pad and pen ready to take their order. Just one small tinsy weansy problem. My legs won't move!

I inhaled and exhaled a few times. Just stay calm, clam , calm , calm. I'm calm. I finally relaxed and I plastered the most friendliest smile I could pull off.

I walked over to the booth the Frost's were seated. My legs were a bit jiggly when I stood in front of them.

"May I take your order?" I asked.

"Um can we please have a few more minutes to look over the menu" Mrs. Frost asked lookingvat her menu.

"Take all the time you need, how about drinks?" I asked.

"Two cokes one Pepsi and a orange juice please" Mr.Frost answered with a warm smile.

I wrote it down quickly" okay I'll go get your drinks " I smiled and turned my heel.

"Wait!"

I turned around and faced jack's little sister.She looked about 6 to 7 years old.

"Do you have chocolate cake?" She asked making puppy eyes.

"Emma" jack hushed his sister.

I kneeled down to her size and smiled.
"Tell you what I'll sneack you a slice after your done with diner, if its okay with your parents"

"Mom Dad pleasssee" she made puppy eyes at them."Its freeeeee cakkkeee"

"Fine" her parents sighed.

"Yaay" she cheered making me giggle.

"Okay kido I'll go get your drinks and after diner I'll give that cake I promise" I patted her head and walked to get the Frost drinks.

I placed the drinks in front of them gently on the table.

"Are you ready to order" I asked politely.

They gave me their order and I went to the kitchen and gave the cook the orders.

When the food was ready and placed their food in front of them gently before leaving.

I walked over to the back of the counter and lucky me the Frost's table wasn't far from view.

I placed my elbows on the counter and rested my head on top of my palms as I stared at Jack dreamily.

"He will make a fine son-in-law" my mothers voice spoke from behind me.

Heat rose up my face and wide eye I turned around and faced my mother.

"Mom!" I whined.

"What? I like him for you, he looks like a fine young man"she chuckled.

"Mom, he doesn't even like me" I sighed disappointed.

"Oh trust me sweety he will eventually" she smiled before walking back into the kitchen.

"Sure he will" I said sarcastically and turned back to daydreaming about Jack.

When the frost were dine with their mean I went to the fridge and took out two slices of cake and put them into a small container.

I walked over to their table. "Here you go kido two triple chocolate slices. Ine for you and one for your brother." I smiled and handed her the two containers.

"Thank you!" She squealed.

"No problem" I giggled.

Soon enough the Frost left and I did as well after my shift. My mother's shift end till 10 and its just 8:15

I walked home and changed into P'Js. My day was tiring and as soon as I laid on my bed I fell asleep.
