Imarina's POV

It's the day after Klaus siblings and mother returned. His mother has decided to throw a ball. Which will be hosted at Klaus' house. I didn't want to go. But I have a horrible feeling Esther is up to something. So I had to be there, to watch over Klaus, Rebekah and Elijah. Jackson will be at my side the whole time. Esther doesn't seem to know about us werecats yet, but I am sure she will soon. She and Finn seem to be having a lot of secret conversations since their return. Though currently he is helping Elijah set up the ball. While Jackson and Kol is being tailored too. While Rebekah and I get our nails done.

"Rebekah? Tell me how handsome I am" Kol says.

"Ah Kol, you know I can't be compelled" she reminds him.

"Imarina, you tell me how handsome I am" he says.

"Oh Kol, you know I don't take orders from you or be compelled" I remind him with a smile. "Besides I only have eyes for my husband, mate and father of my cubs" I add smiling up at Jackson.

"As I only have eyes for you" he tells me. Finn and Elijah smile. Just then Klaus storms into the room looking annoyed and heads for Rebekah and I. Jackson stiffens, but I wave him off. It's clear that Rebekah is the target for Klaus' temper, not me.

"You went after Elena? What is wrong with you?!" Klaus demands.

"Here we go" Rebekah says bored.

"Do you want another dagger in your heart?" he asks her.

"Again with the dagger threats? Don't you have any other tricks?" Kol asks him.

"Oh, go back to staring at yourself" Klaus tells him.

"And who are you, my father?" Kol demands.

"No, Kol, but you're in my house" Klaus reminds him.

"Then perhaps we should go outside" Kol suggests.

"You will not" I growl glaring at Kol.

"Then perhaps we should go outside" Esther says as she appears. Klaus leaves the room with her and I watch them go wary.

"I hope you little ones don't fight like this lot" Jackson says as he rubs my belly fondly. Each kicks his hand. He chuckles and kisses my stomach three times.

"Have you two been together long?" Finn asks us.

"Not really, we only got together shortly after I became pregnant" I tell him.

"You act like you've been together for years" he states.

"That's what happens when you find the one" Jackson tells him. "You hungry?" he asks me.

"Starving" I tell him.

"Well I am on my way to the grill, want to come?" Rebekah asks me.

"No, but I do fancy one of their peach cobblers" I state looking up at Jackson with kitten eyes.

"Of course, I will go get you some" he assures me. "Elijah, I'm popping out" he says.

"That's fine, take care of my sister while you're out" Elijah tells him. Jackson nods and kisses me gently on the lips. Before leaving with Rebekah.

"You trust him alone with her?" Kol asks me.

"Of course I do, he'd never betray me. Besides he is not Rebekah's type" I state.

"Imarina, your dress if here if you wish to try it on" Elijah tells me. "It's in your room" he adds. I nod my head and go to my room. I see a nice black dress.

(The Grill) Jackson's POV

On the way to the grill. I'd ordered the peach cobbler for Imarina. It was an uneventful car ride to the grill. I drove. "I'm gonna go get the cobbler" I tell Rebekah.
