(I dedicate this entire chapter to the First Responders. You are a Hero to many. Everyone will always remember you. 9/11 is a day none of us will forget. #NeverForget #NeverForgotten)

Jay turned on the tv in the living room. They had a special on Fox and Cnn, and all of the rest of the news channels about 9/11.

"It's been 14 years."

"14 years since what Dad?"

"Before you were born, Terrorists flew two planes into the North and South Tower of the World Trade Centers. I knew someone who went up in the towers and saved millions of people. He died on that day."

"Dad,I'm sorry."

"It's fine. His name was Michael Preston. He left behind two kids. I grew up with him. He left after High School to go to College. His wife called me the day they found him."

"Do you wanna take a Day trip just you and I. Go visit the Memorial."

"Yeah. I'll buy the tickets right now."

"Mom,Dad and I will be back late tonight. We are going to New York. To visit the 9/11 Memorial."

"Love you Sawyer."

"Come on Sawyer. We gotta get to the Airport."

Jay and Sawyer boarded the plane, to New York. Got there in about 1 hour. The exit the plane and get a rental car. The first thing Jay does is drive to Lillian Preston's House.

"Hey Lilly."

"Hey Jay."

"Uncle Jay." yelled Michael Jr.

"Hey Mikey."

Michael is about 17. Kirsten is about 13,the same age as Sawyer

"Who's this Jay?" asked Lily

"My Daughter Sawyer. I also have two boys at home."

"How are you holding up Lily?"

"Eh,Not good. It's still sad."

"I know. I can't believe it's been 14 years. It doesn't feel like it."

"I was gonna take Sawyer to the Memorial. Would you, Mikey and Kirsten wanna come."

"Yes. We'll come."

Jay drives their car there. He walks out. Lily has the flowers in her hand. Jay has the flag.
Kirsten and Mikey put the flowers.

"Dad,This is where they stood?"

"Yeah. It is. I remember being home. A couple of weeks later I was getting deployed."

"Mom,Can we go to Dad's favorite restaurant?" asked Mikey

"Yeah Mikey. We can."

When they get to the sub place. Jay and Sawyer looked around the place. Jay saw that they had Michael's picture on the wall.

"Thank you for honoring my Brother." said Jay

"Hey Lily. Do you want his order?" asked Louis

"All of us will take Michael's order."

They finished their food, and went to the Grave site. Jay stood down by his grave. Sat down and started crying.

"Hey Michael. It's been a while. I miss you more than ever. I have been thinking about you. You should meet my Fiancee. She's the best woman ever. You would've loved her. I wish you could be alive. So you can be here for Mikey's graduation. Why did you have to go into that building. You knew you wouldn't make it out. Why did you go when you had a family. You should've stayed out. Thanks for being an awesome Dad and Friend. I love you Michael. Miss you."

Sawyer has never seen her Dad this sad,in who knows how long. She walked over to hug him.

"Dad,I love you. I miss you. It's been a while since I have come and seen you. Thank you. Thank you for saving those people. They'll thank you a lot. Sorry you had to go. You missed my First High School Varsity game. You missed Kirsten's First birthday. I want you to know. I miss you. Mom misses you. Uncle Jay misses you. Kirsten misses you."

"Hey Auntie Erin!" said Jude

"Hey Jude. Sawyer's not home. She's in New York for the day."

"Alright. Tell her to come see me at the Firehouse when she comes back."

"She won't be back til Late tonight."

"Ok."

Later that night. The went to Where the towers stood and Watched them shine the lights where the towers once stood.

The Heros of 9/11 are honored. I am honoring them and dedicating a chapter to them. Rest in Peace to the First Responders. Rest in Peace to the people who worked in either Tower. #NeverForget #NeverForgotten. I still greive on this day,for the family's of those who died. Thank you for all you have done. You will never be forgotten.
