It's the day Lane gets his surgery. Will,Dr. Tramble, Dr. Whilhite are doing the surgery. Erin got Isaiah dressed and into his carseat.

"Mom,I'm gonna go to the Firehouse for a little while,then I'll ask Aunt Leslie to bring me to the Hospital."

"Do you need me to bring you?"

"Nah,I'm good. It's just a couple of blocks from here."

"Ok. Be Safe."

Sawyer walked out of the door,and ran to the firehouse.

"Hey Jude!"

"Hey Sawyer! What are you doing?"

"Well,I came to see my boyfriend. Also,I wanted to see Kennedy."

"Ah,I see. You wanted to see my sister not me."

"Well,Yeah. But I do miss my boyfriend."

"I've missed you Sawyer Grace."

"I've missed you too Jude."

"Have you been to the memorial yet?"

"No,I have been putting it off. I don't wanna step foot in the memorial. It's bad enough I get reminded of her when I walk in the firehouse. I am not gonna visit it for a while."

"Jude,You're gonna be ok. Just think. You would want me to visit the memorial if My Mom or Dad died. Come on Let's go visit it together."

"Sawyer,I can't. I promised I would help out here."

"It's ok. I will be at the District if you need me."

Sawyer walked over to the District.

"Hey Kiddo!"

"Hey Platt!"

"You look sad,Do you need a hug?"

"No,I don't. Yeah. Give me a hug."

Platt gave her a hug.
"Come see Kid."

"My baby brother is getting surgery. Jude wouldn't go see his Mom. I don't know anymore."

"Sawyer,Jude is just angry. He'll come around."

"I know he will."

"Can you buzz me up?"

"Yeah."

"Hey Grandpa!"

"Hey Sawyer!"

"What are you doing here?" asked Hank

"I wanted to come visit you guys. My Mom is on the way to the hospital. I don't know where my dad is. I had a conversation with Platt. I had a fight with Jude. The sky must be falling or I must be dieing."

"Sawyer,You're not dieing. Jude will come around He's Still mad. He's got a sister. You had a conversation with Platt?"

"Yeah. I did. It sucks. I Can't believe we can't talk about it. Jude won't talk to me. I just wish He would."

"Sawyer. He's mad that his Mom is dead. He won't talk to anyone and you know that. Give him time. I promise he'll come around."

Sawyer walked out the door and to the firehouse.

(Flashback)

"Jay! H-He went up in the towers. He just called me and told me." cried Lily Preston

"Hold on Lily,What do you mean? Who went up in the towers?"

"Michael! Michael went up in the towers. I don't know if He'll come back out. Are you watching the news?"

"Lily,I have been watching the news since It happened. You gotta calm down. Lily, He's alive. I promise you. I know He is still alive."

"Jay, He left a voicemail,because I was to busy feeding Mikey. I-i turned on the tv and saw the two towers."

"Lily, I will try calling him. Hang up and I'll call you right back."

Jay called Michael. He answered.
"Jay,I gotta go."

"Michael! Don't you fucking tell me you're going into that tower."

"Jay,It's my job. I have too."

"Michael,Your wife is pregnant. You have a 3 year old son at home. Don't you go into the tower. Please Mich-"
The line cut off and Jay heard a loud noise.

"MICHAEL! MICHAEL!" yelled Jay

Jay struggled to call Lily back but He did.
"Lily,He went up in the South Tower. I-I just called him."

"NO! NO!"

"Lily,I will be in New York in a couple of hours."

"Jay,Someone's knocking on my door."

"Go answer it."

Lily went and answered the door. A Policeman,and A firefighter was at the door. Her family and Michael's family walked to the door with her.

"Mrs. Preston, Your husband was an amazing firefighter,but because of his heroism. It cost him his life. I'm so sorry. Here's his badge,and flag."

Lily fell to the ground and cried.
Someone called Jay.
"Jay,I'm sorry. Michael went up in the towers. He didn't make it out." said His Mom crying

(End of flashback)

"Er,It's been 14 years without my best friend."

"Jay,It's going to be ok. Lane is going to be ok. Sawyer will be ok."

Jay just cried on her shoulder.

"Jude,Can I talk to you?" asked Sawyer

"Yeah."

"I'm sorry for earlier. I didn't mean it."

"Sawyer,It's fine. It's my fault. I shouldn't have told you to leave."
Jude hugged her then pulled her in for a kiss. And kissed her.

"You honestly don't know how long I've waited to do that. I love you Sawyer!"

"Jude!"
