"Why am I here again?" My best friend huffed in annoyance as he glanced around the coffeehouse. "I really hate these places. They give me the hibby jibbies." He said as he shuddered.

"Coffeehouses give you the hibby jibbies?" I asked raising an eyebrow at him. I had known him for basically all my life and he never fails to amaze me.

"Yes, they do." He said as he swiped his phone. I saw him glance down at the screen before tapping the message icon even though there was no notification there. He clicked on a name and when it opened he sighed. "Why am I here?" He asked looking up and I simply shrugged.

He cocked his head to the side and frowned as if he was trying to fit the pieces of the puzzle together on his own. When he did his eyes widened and his jaw dropped.

"Lover boy ditched you today, didn't he?" He asked as a smirk made its way to his face. I hated when he was right and I hated what he tend to do when he was right.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I said as I brought my coffee to my lips. Michael had insisted the place made him a milkshake because he didn't like the taste of coffee and just because I was just a loyal customer, they complied.

"Please tell me you took my advice to give this kid a chance."

"I'm not giving anyone a chance."

"Then why are you here?" He asked and I squinted at him. He knew fully well what he was doing and by the look on his face he wasn't going to stop anytime soon.

"I'm always here, Mikey." I said rolling my eyes. "I come here every day for coffee."

"But why did you ask me to come here?"

"Can't a girl want to hang out with her best friend?"

"Not when he's busy."

"What are you busy with? You literally do nothing all day." I argued. He was one of the few that got lucky in landing a job he could easily do at home. In his pajamas. I hated him for that.

"I have other friends too." He mumbled as he shifted around nervously. "I was actually going to do something today but you called me here because your boyfriend ditched you."

"He did not ditch me."

"So you're not denying he's your boyfriend?" Michael asked with a smirk on his face. The more I thought about it, the more I hated the fact that I had texted him. I should've just sat by myself. I usually did that anyways.

"He's not my boyfriend either. We've literally only been talking for four days."

"So? People have had sex with people they've known for four hours. What is your point?"

"I don't miss Luke."

"I didn't say you missed him."
