Hunted

 

JIN’S POV

            “Why does teachers like you so much Jin? I guess because… You are a big show-off!”

            “It is obvious that you’re trying hard so someone can notice you, so you seek out even the teachers!”

            “Why? Aren’t you satisfied that we are the only ones that talk to you?”

            “You’re so pitiful! No wonder no one would like to be your friend because even your mommy and daddy don’t like to have a daughter like you!”

            They are talking random things that aren’t even real. They surrounded me and keep on throwing crumpled papers, some are poking me hard, pushing me around until I breakdown…

 

Jin: S-stop! *sob*

           

            I can’t defend myself and all I can do is cry.

 

            “Hey! There is a teacher incoming!”

            They suddenly scattered when they heard that yell; they’re probably afraid to get caught while bullying me.

            I tried to get away too to stay out from trouble from what those other kids did to me and my uniform is a mess as well as my face.

 

            “Where are you heading to?”

            I stopped walking and see who it is.

 

            “You can call me Ely! You don’t have to hide; that yell they heard earlier was me.”

Jin: Ely?

Ely: You might be the attention-seeker that I heard every day from the other kids.

Jin: I’m not an attention-seeker!

Ely: So you really are Jin?

Jin: Yes. Why did you do that? The scream?

Ely: Ah~ In order to rescue you! I’m more than like a superhero you know. Hehehe.

Jin: Thanks. But, why?

Ely: Just consider me a different kid from them okay?

Jin: You don’t believe the rumors?

Ely: No. I transferred here one week ago and was so curious about these rumors and lucky me I finally get to see the protagonist of the story! Isn’t it just GREAT? *grin*

Jin: Yeah?

Ely: Let’s be friends! *smile*

            I was astounded when I realized what he said. He lift his right hand and I, myself was shock too when my hand slowly accept it to give him a handshake.
