Beach

After the movie was over the phone rang. I picked it up and they ask for cat. Once i handed her the phone she talked for a minute then started smiling like crazy. She hung up and looked at me. "Yes, i got the job." She says jumping up and down. "What job" i ask."well, while you were out meeting carter yesterday, i applied for a job at hot topic." She says. "No way, that awesome. I really need to find find a job. We gotta live!" I say and carter speaks up. "Oh there hiring at yogi's! I work there so i can put in good word for you!" He says and i smile. "Thank you, your so sweet" i say and Cat pretends to gag. We all laugh and then tried to decide what to do next. "We could go swimming!" Asher yells. They we agree and go get their bathing suits and stuff. I just sit there. I really don't want to go swimming. A long time ago i had some trouble with things and....i self harmed. Ive regretted it ever since but the scars on my upper thigh still haven't faded and i really don't want people to see, especially carter. Cat knows but i guess she just forgot. I sit there on the couch worrying about what i should do. When everyone walks in. "You ready?" Asher asks. They all say yea an look at me. "Kye, why don't you have your stuff?" Carter asks. "I-i really don't want to go swimming." I say with a shaky voice. "Oh, come on. It'll be fun" asher says. "O-ok, ill go but i don't wanna swim." I say standing up. We leave the and go to The beach. It was REALLY crowded which made me a little more shaky. We walked down the beach for a while to try to find a good, clear spot. We walked for what seemed like forever until we found a prefect place behind some really big rocks. The rocks were blocking everyone away since its was really tall and wide. No one could see us so i calmed down a bit but i was still pretty shaky. Asher, Cat, and Carter were running to the water when carter stopped and looked at me. I was sitting on a towel i had put out, watching them. He started walking back to me as asher and Cat splash each other in the water. Carter sits next to me on the towel and we were quiet for the first few minutes. He looks me in the eyes and starts to speak up. "Whats wrong?" He asks. "W-what do you mean?" I ask looking at the ground. He puts a finger under my chin and lifts my head up so were looking each other in the eyes. "Kye, what wrong. Why wont you come swim?" He asks. I sigh and look down again. "I-its complicated" i start then look back up. "I don't wanna talk about it". He nods his head and gives a sad smile. We sit like that for quite a long time. We talked and had a few laughs. It was starting to get dark an cold. I get the chills and carter notices. He scoots closer and puts his arm around me, i smile and lay my head on his shoulder. "Kye...i know we have only known each other for a few days but...i feel like I've known you my whole life, cliché i know but... W-will you go out with me?" He asks. I smile and kiss him. He kisses back and It was amazing. We pull away and i lay my head on his shoulder and we watch the sun set. Pretty romantic if i do say so myself. Suddenly it hit me. "Hey, where did Ash and Cat go?" I ask. "Umm, i have no idea" he replies. I walk over to where a big rock is to see something drawn in the sand. A wink face. Of course, she left is here to go suck face with asher. She gets annoying but i gotta love her. She IS my sister unfortunately (kidding). Carter puts his shirt back on and we start to walk back to the apartment. It was only about a mile away but I'm lazy. She could have left the car and walked but nooOOoo. I look at carter and he look at me. We both smile and continue walking. Ae finally get to the apartments and i open my apartment door to see cat laying in top of Asher making out. They look at us blush. "Umm are we interrupting something?" I ask sarcastically. (I was mimicking something but only one person will understand what...sorry). "Umm yea, so can you guys leave?" Cat asks. I laugh and carter and i go watch a movie in his apartment.
