Old friends

"Do i know you from somewhere?"

We get to the airport and put all our stuff in the storage of the plane. We take our seats and i put in my headphones. Im sitting the closest to the window next to me is cat, then on the outside seat was a old lady with a n alligator purse. ~(-_-)~. I lay my head on the window and close my eyes...
I wake up to cat shaking me. "WERE HERE!!" She says exited. I get up an grab my stuff. We walk out and get into our car that was drove here and get all our stuff off of the plane. We start to drive to the apartment we moved into when someone suddenly pulled out in front of us. I slammed on the breaks and and the car stops. The person in front of us just kept going and was driving insane. "Asshole!" I say. About 15 minutes went by and i turned on the radio. Our favorite song then came on and we looked at each other and started singing along to it pretty loud. The song was '@replay by set it off' and i absolutely love it. "THIS IS OUR TIME, THIS IS OUR NIGHT, THIS IS OUR CHANCE AT FEELING ALIVE!!" We sing along. I was out of breath so i stop singing for a couple seconds. I could tell cat was too so she stopped singing. We just laugh and start singing again. "TWO SLEEPLESS WEEKS IS ALL THAT IT TAKES TO FIND FOUNDATIONS WORTH THE TIME OF OUR LIVES" we sing again. We pulled into the parking lot of the apartments as soon as the song was over. Perfect timing, the song after @replay was shake it off by taylor swift, i really don't like her but I'm not judging if you do. Anyways, it was pretty dark when we got there, it was almost 2:00 am. It took us forever to get all of our stuff to our apartment. Most of it was already hear since a moving truck brought it but we still had a lot. The apartment was already furnished so i was happy. After we got everything out of the car, i decide it was late and went to bed. My room was full of boxes that and ill unpack tomorrow. Cat had more stuff then me so her room must be PACKED. I pushed everything aside and found my bed, laying in it for the first time. It was so comfortable i fell asleep a few minutes later.

The next day i woke up pretty early so i could unpack all the boxes. Cat usually sleep in. I would still be sleeping until about 11:00am if i hadn't of set an alarm clock. I make some breakfast with the food we had and watch TV. Once it was over i start unpacking my stuff. I hang my clothes, put up a few posters and decorations in my room and a fee pictures. I open another box of pictures and pull one out. I look at it and a smile starts to spread on my face. The picture was of me on my 5th birthday. I was blowing out the candles with the help of my friend. I cant remember his name but i could remember all the fun times we had together, cat was always jealous that i hung out with him over her. We rode bikes, played games, and everything. We were best friends..... until one day. He moved away and i never saw him again. I sigh and set the picture on my desk right next to one of me and cat. I finally finish unpacking my stuff when cat wakes up. "Hey, I'm gonna go pick up some food I'm starving" i say to cat. "Your always starving" she replies and we laugh. I leave the apartment and across the hall a boy around my age was coming out of his apartment too. He was REALLY cute. (Picture above, right side) He had black flippy hair and brown eyes. His lips were really pink and he had the cutest dimples. For some reason he seemed so....familiar..? He looks at me and smiles. "Hi, I'm carter. And who may you be?" He asks. It was kinda funny so i may have laughed a little. "Umm I'm Kye, i just moved in with my sister cat" "ohh i was wonder what that noise was at 2:00 in the morning." I slightly laugh an he chuckled at me. "So where is a beautiful lady like yourself off to do" he asks with a funny voice. We laugh again and i look at him closer, his cace is just so familiar. "Umm nothing much, i was just going to check out some stuff here in LA and get a bite to eat." I say still trying to figure out where i know him from. "Well if you want, i could show you around and maybe...buy you lunch?" He asks politely. I smile and nod. "Sure, hey do i know you from some where?" i ask. "Hmm, no i don't think so, unless you've been seen the commercial for tide, i was in that" he says jokingly. I laugh and shake my head. "No thats not it, well it probably doesn't matter" i say and forget about it. We leave and carter takes me to a billion amazing places all around LA. I knew moving here would be great. After we went to a few more places we decide to get lunch. We went to this really cool café called yogi's. I ordered a burger and carter got the same. We ate and talked. "You know you have the prettiest eyes." He says to me. I look at him. "No there not, there not even the same color" i say. "Well i think they are beautiful" he says and look into my eyes. I smile an say thank you. "So how long have you lived in in LA?" I ask. "Almost all my life, i moved here with my mom and my stepdad and now its my home. I just moved out if my parents house a few months ago and now i live with my best friend, asher." "Thats cool. Can i meet him some time?" I ask. "Sure, he'll be back tomorrow, he went to visit his family." "Oh ok, and maybe you can meet cat too" "of course." We then finish eating and head back to the apartments.
