IMPORTANT NEWS! We had a quiz today on our knowledge of English history (I aced it without a sweat) and after I finished I got dismissed. So I went out to the hall and I saw the pretty girl leaning against the wall! She smiled and me and said hi. Me being the awkward person I am, I just smiled and walked away from her BUT WAIT! She started talking to me! I think I remember the gist of our conversation...
Her: Hey, don't you live at that house across form my dorm?
Me: Um yeah
Her: I knew it was you! I've seen you around a few times. My name is Hanna by the way. How do you manage to live on your own?
Me: Oh, my mom helps me pay rent
Hanna: That's sweet. I have this roommate and I think she secretly takes my things when I leave the room, but she's kind of cool.
Me: *i just kept staring at her*
Hanna: You don't talk much, do you?
Me: *i let out a nervous laugh* Not really, sorry
Hanna: Don't worry about it, it's nice to finally have someone listen to me for once (or something like that)
Hanna: What do you major in?
Me: I'm taking English right now. I like to writ. What about you?
Hanna: I like that. I'm in the arts.
Me: Cool
Hanna: Yeah. Well anyway, you should get going to where you need to go. Sorry for intruding
Me: Oh you're not intruding at all. I was just going to head home and watch some tv
Hanna: Oh ok well maybe I can talk to you again soon? Jason should be out soon
Me: Jason?
Hanna: my boyfriend
Me: oh
Hanna: well I'll see you around. What's your name? Sorry, I didn't quite catch it
Me: Calum
Hanna: I hope to see you again soon, Calum
And then I walked away. Boyfriend? BOYFRIEND. She has a boyfriend, great.
