"Shots?" She asked Robin, he shrugged and replied, "why not!" This was the answer Regina was hoping for as generally when she was feeling down she would go to a cafe called granny's, it was not as friendly as it sounded, and drink until she didn't feel sad anymore. Generally until she didn't feel anything anymore.

"So when did you get home?" He asked, Regina couldn't really remember the exact day she got home so her answers were very vague, probably due to the amount of alcohol she was consuming.
"A few days ago?" He continued.

"Yeah, sorry I'm having a bit of difficulty remembering things!" She replied.

The awkward conversations about friends and the accident continued for around another hour before Robin interjected. "Regina, I think I should take you home now?" He said and she mustered up what she hoped was a convincing glare but then nodded and stumbled to her feet. She felt so drunk she couldn't keep herself up, grabbing for his arm to steady her and playing it off as linking his arm to avoid more embarrassment.

Half way home Regina told Robin to let go of her as he had been holding her up. "I can walk by myself you know!" She stated as he smirked and laughed to himself, "are you sure?" She nodded and he let go. She managed a step before she swayed side to side and fell off the curb. Robin reached for her and placed his arm around her waist to pull her back up before she fell completely over.

"You okay?" He asked and Regina looked into his eyes and nodded.

"Maybe I can't stand by myself..." She said feeling very stupid and could tell that her cheeks were turning a bright red colour.

"You'll need to tell me the way to your house if you can." He said and Regina nodded again, leading the way down the darkened street, his arm still draped over her hip, until they were at her house.

Regina fumbled with the keys in the lock for a second before Robin took them off her and opened the door instead. Once they were inside, he gently coaxed her into the living room to lie down on the sofa despite her protests. She looked so beautiful lying there with her dark hair draped across her face and her eyes blinking slowly, weighted down with alcohol and tiredness, revealing the smudged line of eyeliner where she'd rubbed her eye. He pulled the blanket down from the back of the sofa and placed it over her, kneeling at the side of her so he was at eye level. He should be getting back home, Will wouldn't mind him being late but he shouldn't take him for granted, so he brushed the hair out of her slowly closing eyes and whispered, "I have to get back home, but call me tomorrow so I know you're okay."

Regina pulled up the blanket to her shoulders, wrapping herself in the warm fabric and only half listening to Robin over the voice in her head telling her she would regret this in the morning. The last thing she remembered was Robin placing a glass of water on the table next to her before she closed her eyes and welcomed sleep.
