Dylan closed the front door and whirled around to face his sister.
"Catherine, go to the study now," he said firmly after taking a deep breath.
Cath knew better than to argue. She walked to the study with Dylan trailed behind her.
Once they were inside, Dylan closed the door behind him. Cath took her seat in front of his desk, knowing Dylan wanted to have a serious talk with her.
"I thought we just had this conversation about lying yesterday," Dylan broke the silence.
"We did....," Cath mumbled.
"And?" Dylan asked, raising his eyebrows and waiting for her to continue.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to lie to you," Cath started to explain, "I was just waiting for the right time to tell you because I know you wouldn't take it well."
"So, you're saying you were withholding information?"
"Kinda... I was just waiting for the right time..."
"And when would that be? Until I find out myself or caught you in the act like what just happened?" Dylan cut her off.
"No...," Cath said, lifting her gaze to him, "See? This is what I'm afraid would happen if I tell you about it. You wouldn't take it well."
"I'm not angry at you Cath. I'm just disappointed that you thought you couldn't be honest with me. The rumors had been spreading out about you and Henry and I refused to believe it because I thought you wouldn't hide something like this from me," Dylan said, sounding a little bit hurt.
"I know you're worried about me, but I'm fifteen. I know what's wrong and what's right. You don't always have to watch out for me," Cath said.
"How can I do that when you always keep putting yourself in danger?" Dylan asked, pointing it out.
"I promise I will be more responsible from now on. I'm sorry I was hiding out my relationship with Henry. I know you appreciate honesty and I'm really sorry for what I did."
Dylan nodded his head in response. He could hear sincerity in her voice. "I don't want a repeat of this. Got it?"
"Yes sir," she answered.
"In my dictionary, withholding information is the same as lying. So, come on. Get up," he said next, standing up himself.
"Please Dyl... I won't do it again I promise. I don't want a spanking," Cath pleaded.
"Catherine, it's not open up for discussion. I tolerated it before, but not anymore. You know better than to lie to me," Dylan said, ignoring his sister's pleading look.
He set and armless chair in the middle of the room and began to roll up the sleeves of his shirt.
"Come here Catherine. I'm not going to tell you again," Dylan told her in his warning tone when he saw she remained in her seat.
But being her stubborn-self, Cath started pleading again, "No... Please Dylan..."
Dylan let out a sigh. He got enough of her pleading, so he headed to where Cath was. He grabbed her upper arm and dragged her to the armless chair.
"No no no no... Dylan...," Cath whined, which was getting ignored by Dylan.
Dylan put his left foot up on the chair, lifted her up, and put her over his knee, so that her body was dangled in the air. He wrapped his left arm around her waist, kept her body up because he was just that strong.
"Just so you know, you earned yourself extra swats for disobeying a direct order," Dylan stated before flipped up her skirt and landing the first swat on her panties covered bum. Cath let out a grunt.
She kicked her legs a little when Dylan started raining down hard and solid spankings to her poor backside. Dylan spanked her for about three minutes before yanked down her underwear and started the lecture.
"I can't SMACK believe SMACK we're having SMACK this SMACK conversation SMACK again SMACK SMACK. I've told you SMACK over SMACK and over SMACK SMACK again SMACK I don't SMACK tolerate SMACK lying SMACK in this house SMACK SMACK," Dylan said in between his smacks.
Catch put her arms around his leg to hold on to. She grunted and whimpered as more and more hard smacks landed on her poor backside.
"Stop it Dylan please.... It hurts," she whined.
Instead of listening to her whines, Dylan continued the lecture, "I can't believe you would actually hide something this big from me. I want to trust you, Catherine, but it turned out that you couldn't trust me. So tell me. How should I trust you?"
Cath couldn't say anything. Not only because the spankings hurt so badly, but also she didn't have the answer to his question.
"I'm your brother Catherine. I'm also your guardian and I want what's best for you. If you told me about this earlier and didn't keep this a secret from me, you wouldn't be in this position," he said next.
Dylan didn't really have anything else to say to her, so he just focusing on landing hard smacks to her bum, sit spots, and upper thighs until it turned red and warm. Tears emerged from her eyes and dropped down to the floor. By that time, she was sobbing and she was truly sorry for keeping her relationship with Henry a secret from Dylan and that she lied to him. She knew Dylan really loved her and he worried about her a lot.
When he saw that she had already learned her lesson, Dylan landed the final smacks to her sit spots, pulled back her underwear up, and put her back to her feet. Her skirt flipped back down to the place before.
Cath put her head down and dropped her gaze to the floor. She was crying and sobbing. Like he usually did after delivering a spanking, Dylan wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into a hug. Cath murmured apologies to him in between her sobs.
"It's over sweetie. You know I always forgive you. I love you," he whispered soothing words to her ear while rubbing circles on her back. Once she finally calmed down, Dylan pulled away his hug.
"Okay, Catherine. Now, go stand in the corner," he ordered.
"What? Why? You already punished me," she said, almost whining. She gave him a pleading look with her puffy red eyes.
"You have to think about what you did. Now go," he said with finality in his voice.
Cath reluctantly trudged to the corner and stood there. As much as she hated standing in the corner, she didn't want even another smack landed on her already sore backside. Even only with his hand, Dylan was absolutely smacked hard.
"You can come out now, Catherine," Dylan said twenty minutes later.
Cath whirled around, just to find Dylan standing there. He put his hands on her shoulders and leaned over so his eyes were on her eyes level.
"I want no more lies coming out from your mouth. Am I understood?" he asked firmly while looking into her eyes.
"Yes sir," Cath answered, nodding her head.
"I'm sorry I had to do that, but the only reason I did that is because I love you," Dylan told her and Cath nodded her head in response.
"From now on, no more lies. I trust you and you can trust me. Don't break my trust on you again. Okay, sis?" he asked.
Cath chuckled. "Okay brother," she said and gave him a quick hug.
"Thank you," Cath said to him.
"For what?" Dylan asked, titled his head to one side.
"For letting me go out with Henry," Cath said and Dylan let out a chuckle.
"And for making me realized that you really care about me," Cath added. Dylan smiled and ruffled her hair.
For the first time in a long time, Cath finally realized that Dylan really cared about her. Not only he cared about her safety, but also he cared about her happiness and she knew she could trust him.
