"Ms. Burton, do you know why Ms. Chang isn't coming to school today?" Dylan asked his sister as he saw her on the school hallway before the fourth block.
"She said she's not feeling well today sir," Cath answered.
"Okay, just checking," he said.
"Mr. Patterson," Dylan said again as he realized Cath wasn't alone, there was Henry standing beside her.
"Good afternoon sir," Henry greeted him and smiled.
Dylan raised a suspicious eyebrow toward Cath. He heard bunch of rumors regarding the relationship between Cath and Henry, but Dylan refused to believe any of them. He believe Cath wouldn't lie to her brother, would she? Dylan shrugged it off and stick to his trust to his sister.
"Have a good day you two," Dylan said and whirled around probably to his classroom.
"Your brother is so scary," Henry cooed in Cath's ear after made sure Dylan was gone.
Cath chuckled and whispered back, "you want to be with me, sooner or later you have to deal with him."
"Not looking forward to it," Dylan said and gave her a slight kiss on the cheek, "Hey you want to go to the beach after school?"
Cath pouted, "I can't... I'm still grounded."
"It's okay. We can do that later," Henry said and took her hand in his.
"I wish I could skip class and spend more time with you," Cath said. Their hands entangled together as they stood face to face.
"I don't want you to get into trouble with your brother because of me," Henry said.
"Whatever you say Mr. Follow-All-The-Rules," Cath teased him.
"Hey! I'm not that thing you just said," Henry protested.
"Yes you are," Cath said and laughed. Henry gave her a half smile. He looked at Cath and felt that spark inside of him again every time he looked at her. Her eyes, her face, her hair, her lips are perfect. Everything about her is perfect, Henry thought. He would do anything just to land a kiss on her pink lips right that exact moment.
"What are you thinking about?" Cath asked, pulling back Henry from his train of thoughts.
He shook his head slightly and smiled at her. "Nothing," he answered, "hey.. Is your friend really sick?"
Cath seemed thinking for a moment and answered, "no... She's just faking sick. She told me she wanted a day off so she just called in, saying she's sick. I've known her too well. I bet she's having a lazy day, laying down on bed, watching pretty little liars while eating ice cream."
"Wow... She really pulled it off. Everyone thinks she's really sick," Henry commented.
"Sometimes she can be very convincing," Cath said.
The bell rang exactly after Cath finished saying that. "I have to get to class now Cath. I have your brother's class," Henry said and shot her an apologetic smile.
Cath pouted, but said, "fine, go. I don't want you to get into trouble."
Henry ran to his class, but not before whispered an "I love you Cathie" on Cath's ear.

Meanwhile, Maddie laid down on the fluffy couch in her pajama. She was faking sick so that she didn't have to go to school. Her mom wasn't home anyway, so it wasn't a problem at all. Her mom flied to London to finish her business there and presumably stayed there for months, like usual.
