I'd never given much thought to the idea of a baby, let alone me becoming someone's actual mother
I couldn't..
Attaching any feelings towards - it, would just make it that much harder to let go
I'd always thought that I would be opposed to the idea of willingly terminating the life of an innocent being - but now that I was in the exact situation I vowed to never be in - it seemed like the only sensible option.
I looked at Levi who was rambling on about some guy who had stabbed himself in the thigh for not running fast enough, but with my thoughts in a completely different world, I wasn't exactly paying much attention to what he way saying.
He had offer to drive me to school; he thought I needed the protection, since word got out about us at school.
I knew hanging around him would just make things worse between me and Alex, For him aswell but to be honest I couldn't face being alone, not with all the judging glares and comments I'd have to face.
He was such a great guy though, after finding out I was pregent he swore he would support me and help me get thought it. Any other guy would've abandoned me without flinching.
Altough, He wasn't particular thrilled about it either, and I knew Alex was the reason behind it. He loved her and since I'd gotten to know him, I could see why Alex was so about crazy about him.
"So.." Levi said and I snapped back to reality "have you decided what you're gonna do?"
"Uh yeah" I shrugged before dazing out the window, recalling the party were I met Levi Thomas
It was the last night of summer at McKenzie Howard's final flame party. She threw one every year and i usually opted to skip it, seeing as I couldn't stand the bitch.
This year, however, I was forcefully dragged there by Asian princess, Cody Lu, who couldn't accept 'no' for an answer, and with Massey still away on holiday with her father and Alex spending the night with Vaygan, i reluctantly agreed to be her D.D.
The party was packed full of people I'd never even seen before.
Cody who abandoned me the second we got there, was now as drunk as 'David after the dentist'
I spent most of the night carrying her to and from the toilet to either help her throw up or piss. After about the nineth time I gave up, leaving her asleep in the bath tub and paid a random girl to keep an eye on her before deciding to go home.
Apon exiting the house, I met Levi (not knowing his name at the time).
He was sitting In the drive way throwing rocks into the street.
"Party's inside you now" I commented on my way to Cody's car.
"I'm not really in a partying mood, in fact I don't even know why im here" he said with a half smile.
"Well, enjoy throwing rocks at nothing" I said and entered the car. I was relieved to finally go home.
As fate would have it my car wouldn't start. Everytime I turned the key, it would throttle for a bit and then suddenly switch off
"Need some help?" The guy asked
"It won't start" I moaned turning the key again but with no luck
He got up and made his way into the car inspecting it before laughing "You know this blinking red light" he said pointing to an 'e' "means that the gas is empty"
My face was as red as my hair out of embarrassment "Oh" I laughed before getting out of the car "Guess I'm walking home"
"I'll walk with you if you want" he offered
"Sure" I said "I wouldn't mind the company"
We were walking for about five minutes in complete silence and it had become more than awkward
"So why were you at a party you had no intentions of being at?" I asked trying to clear the silence
He didn't say anything for a few more steps before he shrugged "I don't know to be honest." He finally said.
"You were there too." he said facing me "Why go if you're more excited to leave?"
"I had nothing better to do so i got forced into being the designated driver" I answered "I left because parties are only fun if you're wasted"
"Nothing better to do?" He asked "don't you have a boyfriend?"
I thought about the question for a while "Not exactly" I answered a bit confused "And you?"
His smile disappeared, the question obviously made him uncomfortable "I came here to surprise this girl I like" he started "but when I got to her house, she was with some guy."
"Ouch" I said In a surprised, sympathetic tone "well she's a bitch" I laughed
"Nah, she's a total sweetheart" he said smiling from one of the corners of his mouth.
We walked for another couple of minutes before reaching my house
"So this is it." I said pointing to the white gate that surrounded the house "do you wanna come inside for, you know, coffee" I offered as we made our way onto the porch
He stood there and contemplated my offer
"Sure" he said smiling "I could use the company"
The following day at school I realised who he really was when Alex introduced us
Obviously both horrified at the sin we had commited, We agreed to pretend as if our 'previous encounter' never happened...
