I couldn't believe Massey! What was she doing at Vaygans house? They weren't even really friends... He was obviously using her to get back at me and of cause Massey being so insecure she probably fell for it
However they were the last of my problem's. Trying pull myself together I took a deep breath realising I still needed to know what Levi wanted to talk.
The nervousness erased all thoughts I had of Vaygan and Massey and what might have happened last night.
As I pulled up at Levi's house I felt my insides tremble with fear. What did he wanna talk about?
My breath shortened as I rang the doorbell.
The door opened and I'm greeted by Levi wearing nothing but boxer shorts, I could feel the butterflies in my stomach start to flutter and my heart did a few flip flops.
He had grown up so gorgously I thought, noticing the newly grown facial hair on is his face and the six pack that replaced the once skinny boy I had known before
"Alex" he said in his irresistible morning voice and led me up to his room.
His room still looked exactly the same since before he moved to London; posters covered the walls, action figures and comic books filled the shelves
-it had been like nothing had ever changed , his parents getting the divorce, him moving away to London and most of all it was like we were still together. His room was like a time capsule to a once happier time... a time I deeply missed.
I nervously took a seat on his bed trying to read his facial expressions to somehow give me an idea of what he wanted to tell me but he was reserved and closed up to me.
"So..." I said awkwardly trying to start the dreadful conversation
Levi looked at me with fear in his eyes as he sat down beside me "About last night" he started off and instantly my face turned away from his out of embarrassment. "When you said... what you did, and I... didn't say it back" he struggled to say "it's not because I don't... it's because of"
"Sage" I mutter. I turned to him and it's like he can sense my sadness
"what's going on with you two" I asked and immediately regretted wanting to know.
What was that about asking questions you didn't want the answer to?
Oh yeah
-DONT ASK THEM...
Levi stared at me without saying a single word and that terrified me. How bad was it? Was it even bad?
"Alex, I love you" he said and I sighed internally. I knew he still felt the same way about me
"You do?" I smiled but he waved me off and looked at me with misery written all over his face.
"We can't be together" he whispered coldly, his word pierced right through my heart bruising my soul and in that moment I wanted to die
Funny how the people we love the most can hurt us the most.
Tears flowed down my face as I tried to process his words and with him holding it just made the pain excruciating.
I needed to leave before I had a meltdown in front of a guy who didn't even want me. I felt like a complete idiot. As I got up to leave Levi pulled me back "Alex wait, lemme explain" he yelled out.
"You don't have to explain, you with Sage; I get it" I said and ran out before he could stop me.
I was broken and desperately needed a friend but I currently couldn't turn to any of mine because they both sucked...
I drove around forcing myself to stop crying but the tears were uncontrollable.
Suddenly my phone beeped; it was Massey.
I ignored the call; Massey was the last person I wanted to talk to right now
but she wouldn't stop calling and texting.
"What!" I yelled, finally answering her phone call.
"Look, I know you mad and whatever but you need to get over here right now" Massey begged
"Why?" I asked rolling my eyes.
"Just hurry okay? I need to show you something" She said and hung up.
When I pulled up at Massey's house she was waiting for me at the door
"What did you wanna show me" I asked as she led me inside.
Massey lived with her father who was always at work; he was a manager of some big company and her mom died a few years ago, so Massey basically was alone all the time.
"First of all I'm sorry for not telling you about last night, nothing happened I swear. I was upset over Luke and he was upset over you and all we did was drink, there's nothing between us at all." Massey rambled
"Its fine" I sighed, I knew Massey wouldn't lie to me and I was actually to heart broken to hate her right now, I needed my friend
Massey looked confused "No it's not fine, I shouldn't have been there, you two are obviously going through some big shit right now -you being pregnant and all" She mumbled
"WHAT!" I shouted out in complete shock "I'm not... preg... no!!"
Massey handed me a pregnancy test "it's ok A, I know"
It was used, and definitely wasn't mine.
"Massey, I'm not fucking pregnant! This is not mine" I said tossing the stick to the side
"Well it's not mine" Massey said
Then there was a pause a long pause as the realization hit me in the face.
I felt numb
and sick
and pissed
and I was sure I was about to become a murderer.
"It's mine" said Sage as she walked in.
"I'm pregnant"
