Collins POV
----

Since Jack apologized to me we've been doing great; as friends. We've been hanging out every Friday night, taking pictures and hiking. That's a lot better than him partying, so I'll take it.

Today is Halloween and Jack said he wanted to take me trick or treating.

*at target*

"Here what about this one?" Jack holds up a minions costume. I can't help but laugh.

"Seriously Jack? That is absolutely ridiculous" I walk around the isles of Halloween costumes for what seems like 40 minutes. There is no way in hell I'm going to dress up like a 'slutty cat' or something. I finally find a Luigi costume and smile.

"Hey Jack!... Jack-o-lantern... Jack the butt-"

"I believe someone is calling my name?" My jaw drops as I see Jack walk around the corner and into the isle with a tight blue Elsa dress on and blonde wig. I hit the floor with laughter and Jack just stands there twirling around.

"Jack..." I try to make out between laughs. I finally get it together.

"I found a Luigi costume" I smile proudly and hold it up.

"Sounds good, I'm getting this one" Jack points at his blue dress. What on earth. I give in and we proceed to the checkout. We buy the costumes and head back to Jacks house to change and get ready for the night.

When we step in Jacks house we hear laughter filling the living room. I take a quick peek in and see my family with Jacks talking by the fire place and drinking wine.

"Oh hello Collins" Mrs. Gilinski smiles, "Are you two heading out soon?"

"Yes ma'm" The whole scene playing out before my eyes is just wonderful. I know it's just people sitting around the fire and drinking wine but it makes me smile. Everyone is so happy and having a good time. I love it.

I head up to Jacks room and throw on my Luigi overalls, my green long sleeved shirt, mustache and hat. Jack told me friends should feel comfortable changing around each other, and since we are 'best frenzies' (as Jack says) we do. I put my hair into a side braid and look back at Jack, who is struggling with his dress.

"Collins, help I can't get this thing on" He's wearing leggings he claims are "man leggings" and a white turtle neck that's his moms. I finally manage to help him put on the blue dress and wig and we head back downstairs.

"Mom we're heading out" Jack calls to his mom. They all come to check out our costumes. When they do they all grow quiet. Then they burst out laughing.

"Jack, son, how did you fit in that?" His dad says between laughs. My mom and his mom both take out their phones and snap pictures at us.

"Okay thank you, paparazzi for the pictures, now we must go." I say to them.

"Oh wait! Collins, you two might need these!" Jacks mom comes back from the kitchen with two pumpkin candy baskets. I thank her and we head out.

Throughout the night Jack and I went to over 40 houses getting candy. Jack managed to scare about 20 little girls by popping out behind cars screaming "let it go". Once it was 11:30 we headed back to my house to sort out all of our candy. Combined, we had over a boat load of stuff. I quickly took all the kit Kats before Jack could, because they're my favorite.

"Collins help me find all the Krabby patties" I looked up at Jack and rolled my eyes and helped him. I hated the Krabby patties, they tasted (and felt) like rubber.

About 45 minutes later of searching for our favorite candy and sorting it all out. We decided it was getting late.

"Bye Jack-O-lantern, see you later." I called out to him. Then I headed for the door.

"See ya, Luigi" He waved, blew me a kiss and did a curtsey.

As I was walking across the street back to my house I thought about how much of an influence I have on Jack. He is becoming such a good person and I am so happy for him. I don't want to change him, I just want him to recognize that he has so much potential in life.

I know he has potential in life; everyone does. Sometimes you just have to scrape away the bad stuff to get to the good.
