Collins POV
----
All I could think was whoa.

I stepped out of the car and my jaw dropped at the sight of our house. I've seen pictures online that my mom showed me, but from what is in front of me right now, those did this house no justice.

It's beautifully designed with windows all across the front, with a long stone driveway racing down to the street. It was breathtaking.

After staring for a few minutes like an idiot, I decide it is a good time to get my bags out of the back of the car. I couldn't pack much since we don't have a lot of room in our car, and because the rest of my belongings are in the moving trucks that won't be here until tomorrow.

As I walk up to my front door I hear faint yelling and laughs from across the street. I turn and see four boys playing basketball in their driveway. They are muscular and tall, all with brown hair except for a short blonde boy.

"You ball sack! That was an offensive foul!" One of the brown haired boys yelled at another one.

"Shut up Jack, you were literally up my ass, I was uncomfortable!" The blonde boy yelled back. I chucked at their friendly banter.

I carry on and walk inside with bags on each of my shoulders. My mom said I could have any room upstairs so go ahead and look around. After weighing my options I choose the room that has a vaulted ceiling that gives off "attic vibes". Towards the back of my room I have a little window seat that has a view of down the street; where I can see the group of boys yell at each other some more whilst trying to play basketball.

Since none of our big furniture is here yet I can't really unpack anything, so I decide to go for a run to get moving after sitting in a car for eternity. It's September so it's starting to cool down a bit. I tear through my bags and find some Lululemon leggings, my long sleeve soccer tournament shirt and my tennis shoes. I throw my hair up and head out.

As soon as I step outside I realize I have absolutely no clue where to go because I am not familiar with the neighborhood. However, I decide to run the opposite direction of the basketball boys because I am extremely anti-social and I would rather not risk them trying to talk to me, even though they're probably really nice.

I head down the street and put my headphones in. As I'm running I feel like my thoughts can be free. I start to think about how on Monday I start school. I still can't get over the fact that I have to start over, and make all new friends again. I just get nervous thinking about it. After what seems like 30 minutes of running I head back towards my house.

When I get inside I hear other voices talking and laughing. Great, my parents already made friends before me. I mentally kick myself because I had equal opportunities to with those boys down the street, but I'm too shy. I walk cautiously towards the strangers and my parents.

"Oh look, here she is." My mom turns and faces me, along with my dad and another couple around their age.

"Collins" she starts, "I'd like you to meet Mr. and Mrs. Gilinski"
