"I have no idea where I'm going to get the money for this!" Ophelia laughed as the two lovers walked into the huge hotel suite.

Loki had switched to a simple black suit, and Ophelia had left her dress on. After leaving Tony they had decided to stay in New York for the rest of the night.

"We could simply just...disappear." Loki smiled lightly. Ophelia turned and looked up at him.

"Com'ere you." She said as she wrapped her arms around his neck with a bit of difficulty. "You're too damn tall." She mumbled. She then squealed as Loki lifted her off the ground and twirled her.

"Darling, you're brilliant! I would never have figured out Stark's technology." He laughed and planted a kiss on her head.

Ophelia smiled slyly. "I should help take over the world more often." She joked. Loki playfully shoved her away and looked out the window.

"If only it was mine..." He whispered as he gazed at the beautiful lights that decorated the busy city. Ophelia came and wrapped her hands around his thin waist from behind.

"First London, then we'll make our way to New York. How's that sound? Hmm?" She brushed some dark hair away from the God's cheek. He turned to face her and took her hands in his.

"I think it sounds wonderfully cruel, my love. We shall start soon."

Later that night Ophelia laid comfortably on Loki's bare chest under the hotel blankets. She gently ran her finger in small circles up and down the outlines of his muscles.

"When we return to your hometown we shall prepare for battle." Loki whispered through the dark.

Ophelia hummed in response.

"I estimate we would have an hour before Avengers or S.H.I..E.L.D members come to fight back. During that time we must strike as much fear into the mortals as possible." His hand lazily smoothed her hair then wandered onto her exposed back. "That would include destroying buildings and killing those who run."

Looking down, Loki found his lover smiling.

"Fine by me." She whispered before snuggling closer into him.

"It's like a dine and dash!" Ophelia giggled as she took Loki's hand the next morning. "Except like a stay-in-a-hotel and dash instead."

The familiar fuzzy orb surrounded them and suddenly they were back at the motel.

Ophelia dropped to her knees and took deep breaths. She quickly ran to the bathroom and threw up in the toilet.

"Does the teleportation cause this much uneasiness?" Loki asked as he appeared in the doorway.

"That and a mixture of morning sickness." She gasped as she stood up again. "But I'm good now, so..."

She stood in front of him with her hands on her hips.

"So?" Loki asked.

"So this is it." She continued. "This is it. We're going to do it. We've come all this way, and this will actually work!" She laughed. "I can't believe it!"

Smiling lightly, Loki gently took one of her hands.

"Ophelia, you aren't coming."

She stopped and looked at him in the eyes. "What?"

"You are with a child. My-Our child." He corrected. "I simply can not allow you to fight. It would not be safe."

She opened her mouth to speak, but Loki put a slender finger to her lips.

"But my darling, we can still speak through our minds. And I'll need you to send me the army of Stark's metal men."

Huffing, Ophelia nodded. "Yeah, ok, fine."

Loki kissed her passionately, only breaking for air.

"Stay safe. I shall call for you when needed." The Norse God took a step back and slowly he turned fuzzy and started to disappear.

"Loki, I lo-"

A small flash of light and he was already gone.

Author's Note:

I'm writing so much! I'm sorry, I'm just so excited!

Anyways, a shorter chapter that's going to lead into the final battle and who knows what after? ;)

Even though it was short, I liked this chapter, kind of showing how everyone feels about everything and all that.

What's going to happen next?

*laughs evilly*
