Ok....off to write!

FOUR YEARS LATER

"Katherine, you knock that over I'll sell you to replace it!" Ophelia snapped as her daughter touched their brand new box TV that she had just bought.

"Sorry, Mummy." Came the quiet reply.

"It's alright." Ophelia whispered as she knelt beside the child. "Now lets get your cozy jacket on so we can go for a walk, ok?"

Katherine's black bob bounced as she nodded, running off to get her coat and boots.

Sighing, Ophelia also slipped on her winter boots, and put on her coat, scarf, hat and mittens.

"Mummy, I'm ready!"

She glanced around the corner to see Katherine waiting by the door. She walked over and took her small hand.

"Remember. British Katherine inside the house-"

"And Russian Sonya outside the house." Her daughter finished.

They walked outside, hand in hand, and they both switched to speaking Russian.

"Look at the TV!"

Ophelia stopped to see a couple of people gathered around a news TV outside. They approached it, and they both smiled at the people already there.

"Ah, hello Ms. Kolkov. And little Sonya." The elderly man smiled at Katherine.

"There's some big, fancy ship thing that landed in Italy. Everyone's making a big deal about it, but I don't see why."

Ophelia looked at the screen, and listened to the broadcaster.

"Director of S.H.I.E.L.D, Nick Fury, has told us the Helicarrier is having technical difficulties, and had to make an emergency stop at an airport in Italy. Citizens are panicking because it has been rumoured that two-time 'villain' Loki is being held on the ship."

"Mummy, you're hurting my hand."

Ophelia looked down to see she had been squeezing her daughter's hand.

"I'm sorry." She whispered and looked back at the screen.

"They have estimated the helicarrier will take two days to repair."

"Come on, let's go home."

Ophelia gently pulled Katherine away from the TV, thinking hard.

Later that evening, after Katherine was asleep, Ophelia sat by herself at the small table in their dining room.

Over the years Ophelia had tried to contact Loki through telepathy, but had failed. She still had her magic, which she struggled to hide.

Only Katherine knew, but she was just four, and didn't quite understand.

Suddenly Ophelia got an idea, maybe the alcohol that she was drinking played a part, but she decided that it was final. She wasn't going back on her own plan.

"But why are we not coming back?"

"Because we can never return here. We are going to meet someone, then we are moving somewhere called 'Alaska'." Ophelia replied as she opened her closet in search for a specific box.

*FLASHBACK*

"Before I go, Mr. Rogers," Ophelia had said four years ago before leaving for Russia. "May I have my suit? The one I wore..while all that happened? Just as a-"

"You don't have to explain." Steve said sweetly. "I understand. I'll see if I can get it for you."

Ophelia moved aside some shirts and saw the large, dusty box. She pulled it out and laid it on her bed. Katherine climbed up beside the box, curious to see what was inside.

After laying it out on the bed, Ophelia looked at the leather suit and green cape she had worn what seemed like decades ago.

"Are you going to wear that where we are going?" Katherine asked.

Nodding, Ophelia slipped out of her clothes and put on the cat suit and cape, then reached in the box and put on the boots, then the helmet. She looked in her full length mirror and smiled to herself.

"Come're, sweetie."

Ophelia put on a bright pink baby carrier and slipped her daughter into it. She wore Katherine on her front.

"I'm so sorry, Katherine. I wouldn't take you, but I see no other way."

Picking up her staff off the bed, Ophelia took a deep breath. She put a protective hand over Katherine's head and thought hard.

"I wish I was in the helicarrier, I wish I was in the helicarrier..."

She opened her eyes to see four guards looking right at her in a narrow hallway. Thinking quick, she kicked one backwards into the other, and blasted the last two with some magic.

"Wow, Mummy!" Katherine exclaimed.

"Yeah, ok. Shhh." Ophelia kept walking.

She hurried to the nearest elevator, where she picked the lowest level.

To her surprise, the elevator didn't stop once on the way down, but when it opened, she was met with another six guards. She quickly put one hand over Katherine's eyes, and used the other to swing the staff at one guard, then blasted another. Two started shooting, and using magic, Ophelia sent the bullets straight back at them. The last two eyed the child on her chest, and they backed up a bit.

"Lady, we don't-"

His face was met with her boot, and he hit the wall, knocking him out cold. The last one she hit with more magic.

"Ok, don't look yet." Ophelia whispered to Katherine as she walked down the row of holding cells. Each one looked the same, a large metal door with a tiny window.

"I'll have to look in every single-"

She stopped, seeing one that was much more covered in chains and what she assumed was anti-magic metals.

Quickly running back to where she saw a cabinet of emergency weapons in case of a prison break, she grabbed what looked like an explosive gun thing, (she wasn't good with guns) and ran back to the cell. Backing up as much as she could, Ophelia looked at her daughter.

"Cover your ears, Sweetie."

Katherine did as she was told, and Ophelia fired the weapon at the door. A huge chunk of wall fell inward, revealing Loki shielding himself from flying rubble.

Ophelia stood forward, panting, holding the huge gun in one hand and her staff in the other.

They both stood there for a moment, staring at each other.

Simultaneously they stepped forward and embraced so tightly, Ophelia thought she would suffocate.

"Oh, My love." Loki whispered. "You came for me."

"I just spent four years as Ana Volkov, dealing with grumpy Russian men every day. I got sick of it. Oh! Katherine!" Ophelia quickly pulled away, worried about Katherine. Loki looked down and opened his mouth a little.

"Loki, this is Katherine Frigga Hathaway."

Loki smiled lightly and gently placed a had on his daughter's head.

"Hello." He said a bit awkwardly.

"Your hands are cold." Katherine replied.

"Well, are you going to stand there all day? Or am I busting you out?"

"After you, my Darling." Loki said with a devilish smirk.
