He smirked. "Don't worry," He pointed to his head, "I have an idea."
Looking at him suspisiously I asked, "What's the plan?" His eye sparkled with confidence. "Ok, so the plan is to..." He whipsered it in my ear.
"That's a great plan!" I said gleefully. "Let's get started then."
----------------------------------------------
My parents arrived that evening. Sebastian welcomed them in, "Welcome to the Phantomhive estate. My name is Sebastian, and I will take you to the young master and your daughter." He bows and walks off, followed by my parents.
He led them into the dining hall where Ciel and I sat. I stood up, "Mother, Father! It's good to see you." Stretching out my arms, I pulled them into a hug. "How have you been Charlotte?" My mom, Angela, asked me kindly. "Good. Really good, actually. Ciel has been taking good care of me. I like it here." I said rambling..... purposely.
"That's great, sweetie!" She exclaimed.
My dad, Robert, wasn't acting normal today. Usually, he just sits around the house and says nothing when he gets home from work. But right now, he is chatting away with Ciel.
"May I talk to you, Mr. and. Mrs. Rose? In my office?" Ciel asked. I gave him a pointed look, telling him to wait a little bit. "Actually," Sebastian corrected quickly, seeing my look, "I'd like to offer you some tea and crumpets before we see you off."
----------------------------------------------
In Ciel's office, we sat down around his big oak desk drinking our tea. "Hey Father, isn't Ciel's manor amazing?" I beamed. "It sure it."
My dad then asked, "So Ciel, tell me more about this beautiful manor of yours." Ciel smirked. Everything is going as planned.
So the plan Ciel came up with was to ensure my parents that this place is safe. Once they are convinced that it is a great place to be, they will let me stay... Hopefully.
"Yes. Well, my manor was crafted with much arcitechtual detail. It is safe and big as you can see. And in here, I have a lot of security." He boasts.
My father rubs his chin and smiles, "Truely splendid. Boy, I could probably store my things here." I smiled. "Speaking of which..." Ciel starts.
"I'd like to ask you a couple personal questions, if I may, sir." My dad looked at him skepticlly, then said, "Sure, son."
Taking a sip of his tea, he said, "I was wondering if-" He looked at me. "Well, we were wondering if..." He trailed off so I could finish his sentence. My father looked at me concered. "You could leave your most precious thing here? You even said you would." I said.
"That depends, what am I leaving?" I put on my sweetest face and said, "Well what other thing could I be talking about? Me of course!"
Father narrowed his eyes at me. "What did you say?" He asked in a threatening tone. I backed away fearful. "Oh dear..." My mother mumbled.
"How could you even ask to stay and live with a boy! And we are moving, so you can't!" My eyes started to water. "B-but Father... I h-have been staying here, so what is the d-difference?" I stuttered.
"The difference is you were just visiting, not moving in! No more buts! We're leaving right this second!" He brutally grabbed my arm and pulled me out of my seat. My mother followed us without a word to say. As we were about to go in the hallway, I turned to look at Ciel. His face was shocked. Tears ran down my face.
Goodbye Ciel.
