Your Hell of a Secret (Black Butler Fan-Fic)

Chapter Two

My whole body trembled as Sebastian stared at me. His fiery eyes were surprisingly cold.

"Now what should I do to this nosey little girl?" He asked himself. His tone sent icy chills up my spine. What should I do? But before I could think of anything, Ciel appeared behind us.

"Sebastian leave her alone," Ciel commanded. "Go do the rest of your duties for the house."

"Yes, My Lord." He said obediently while walking towards the door. Ciel glared at Sebastian until he left the room. I just stood there silent. Was Ciel mad at me for listening to their conversation? I was about to ask him that, but then he shut the door behind him and looked at me. I froze on the spot.

Ciel walked towards me then gently put his hand on my face. "Charlotte, I can understand your curiosity, but there are some things you shouldn't know." He said this gently in my ear. I felt my face get hot. His face is so close! He must have noticed my nervousness because he chuckled. Then he looked out the window. I followed his gaze. It was dark and pouring rain outside.

"You can't go home in this weather. You should stay the night," he said. "I'll tell Sebastian to prepare you for the night." Then he walked out of the room.

Later on, Sebastian gave me pajamas to wear to bed and said his good nights. It was a little awkward for me because of before, but it didn't seem to phase him.

After I changed, I lied down in the bed. But I couldn't sleep. Thoughts of what Ciel had told me, bothered me. What is Ciel hiding? To get my mind off the subject, I decided to take a little walk. I didn't go too far off, just down the hall a little bit. It was quiet except for the sound of the rain. The hall was dark, the only light was from the moon that shown through the windows.

But then..... BOOM! Thunder exploded in my ears.

I was very frightened. I am scared of thunder. In a hurry to get away from the sound, I went into the first room I saw. BOOM!

"Eep!" I squealed. Tears started to stream down my face and sobs escaped my lips.

"Who is in here?" A voice said.

I lifted my head and looked around the room. That is when I realized I had entered someone's bedroom. Oops. Then another loud thunder echoed into the room with a flash of lightning. "Aah!" The flash lit up the room for a split second, showing the person who was in here with me.

It was Ciel. Then room went dark again and I could only see his figure, the moonlight showing me some of his body.

Seeing my tears, sat up and got out of his bed. He walked closer to me and suddenly gasped, covering his right eye. This eye was the one where his eyepatch is. "C-Ciel? Are you o-ok?" I said though sniffles. He ignored me and pulled me up from the floor with his other hand. "Come here." He said as he lead me toward his bed.

I hesitated and stopped for a second. why was he taking me to his bed?! He sensed my worry and turned around with a gentle smile.

"Don't worry, I won't do anything," he said reading my mind. "And if your in here with me, you won't be scared." He lightly rugged on my arm and helped me under the covers with him. I blushed realizing the situation I was in. I faced opposite of him, and tried to hide under the sheets. Then suddenly I felt his arms wrap around from behind me. "Don't be afraid, it won't hurt you. I'm here now, Charlotte."

I was shocked for a moment but then smiled brightly. Ciel finally showed me his old kind ways... This made me very happy, and to be in his arms made my heart race. I could feel my face blushing. I turned around to face him, and saw that his eyes were closed. He must have fallen asleep already.

Light flashed again and I flinched. But at the same moment, I saw Ciel's face. He was blushing too! His arms tightened around me as the outside lit up again. His arms were so comforting and warm...

Feeling the pull of weariness, I snuggled into Ciel's chest and fell asleep peacefully in the arms of the one I loved.
