Jack awoke his left wrist was bandaged and in  a sling he was on an IV he knew it was Hydrocortisone and the other one was a saline solution. He looked to see his agents in the room along with Bobby where was Abby why was Bobby holding a baby his son was supposed to be born close to Christmas

Jack moved he moaned his wrist throbbed

"Hey you're awake."

"Did Ethel have another kid I thought you just had your one millionth child."

John and Tim snickered

"I'm going to ignore that comment as I see your drugged up." Bobby told him

"Okay you do have a ton." Jack replied.

"Jack this is your son Joshua. The doctors weren't able to save Abby but they saved Josh. And thanks for the comment about one million kids."

Jack nodded the day's events were now coming back to him. He suddenly started to cry he was feeling very upset he couldn't keep back his tears.

Bobby sat down on the bed he hugged his brother he rubbed his back

"Bobby, she is gone." Jack said as he pulled himself together

"Yeah. The doctors said her head wound was too far gone. Why were you in the mustang convertible?"

"It was for show. Lyndon said the state of Texas would like me up close."

"He's weird." Bobby said

"I want to leave I want my clothes." Jack said as he sat up

"Jack take it easy the doctors said you could go home after the IV medication worked its way into you. While you were sitting there you had an Addison's crisis."

"I know I couldn't leave Abby."

Bobby nodded he looked at his brother. He was sad Abby was gone but his heart jumped for joy he hadn't lost his brother his best friend. He wanted to hold onto his brother forever he never wanted to let him go.

"Bobby could you let me hold my son?"

"Are you up to it?" Bobby asked him

Jack nodded. Bobby placed Josh into Jack's good arm.

"Sorry about the one million kid thing. Could you imagine feeding that may kids? I dreamed you had kids and they just kept running out of your house." Jack told his brother

Bobby laughed he replied, "That would be a nightmare!" Bobby replied

"Thanks for coming. Bobby I think I lost my phone." Jack said.

John walked over to Jack he pulled his phone out of this pocket he replied, "Sir you left your phone beside you in the trauma room. I slipped it into my pocket I figured in your condition you would have forgotten about it." He said as he handed Bobby the phone

"Thanks John. "Jack told him

John nodded he walked back to his post by the door.

"I want to leave tonight or right now." Jack said

" I told you after the Medication works it way into you they said we can leave around four or five tonight just rest."

"Lyndon was shot in the stomach and lung . He wanted me shot in the head John said the bullets may have been meant for him."

" I will look into it just rest."

Jack nodded and closed his eyes. Bobby took his nephew 

The agents told Bobby what hey had heard.

Bobby decided not to do anything while they were in Texas they had to get back to Washington.

A nurse came in and removed all of the IV's in Jack's hand

Jack awoke at three he looked at his hand it was IV free he smiled and replied,"let's go?"

"We can do that but first you need to get dressed." Bobby told Jack

"I'm okay."

"Sir you told us you wanted to see Abby before we closed the lid."

"John I can't do that. Could you do it? And would you look after Josh for me?"

"Yes Sir."

Jack nodded.

John handed Clint the baby he left to go check on Abby

Bobby helped Jack dress. Jack was quiet.

Once Jack and his staff were safe on the plane Bobby sat beside Jack.

"Bobby I'm a single father to four kids what do I do? I don't know if I can raise four kids alone. Joe will be wanting to set me up with every available women. "

"I know. He told me to have an affair on Ethel with Some girl named Barbra who went by the name Barbie. I have eight kids I won't do that to Ethel."

I have four and I wouldn't have done that to Abby. She wasn't my true love. But I loved her. And she gave me four beautiful children. I wouldn't trade them for anything."

" At my birthday Joe kept telling me to go after all of the young girls. They were all old enough to be my children. Or at least Joe's. It's sick Bobby he is married to a wonderful gal Katie is so sweet. She doesn't deserve to be cheated on. He sends her away with Abby so he can have fun with the girls."

"Joe is so much like dad it's not funny. I walked in on dad with a women and it wasn't mom. He paid me a thousand dollars to keep my mouth shut."

"Joe use to balance three girls at once."

"I know. Bobby thanks for being here I wouldn't have been okay. If-"

"I know Jack you would have lost it even more if I hadn't come."

"Out of all of our siblings I trust you and Kick. You are the two I'm the closest to."

"I Know."

"Where is Josh?"

"Clint has him. Do you want him?"

Jack nodded how on earth was he going to tell Bella, Caroline and John their mother was dead? Would John even understand?
