"How do you think Teddy made out with my kids and your kids?" Bobby asked as they arrived at Camp David.
"I say he will want revenge John is like me and you. Caroline is totally Kick so yeah, Robby is me and you combined, Kerry is you or at least i think so."
"David is Joe he is entirely Joe, "I can't wait to see Teddy's face." Jack said laughing
"Will your brothers and sisters be there?" Jackie asked
"Yes they all took marine one earlier." Jack replied"Bobby are you and Jack close?" Jackie asked
"Yeah Bobby is my best friend. Abby always tried to keep me away."
"Why did she do that? I love your family"
"Thanks I love them too." Jack replied
"Rosemary is a sweetheart. How can your mom be so cruel to her. "
"I have never understood that. My dad had her sent away all the time. We feared for her life. So Joe hired people to look after her. We hid her from dad. Dad never wanted her to be present a family functions. We always went and spent time with her. The kids all adore her. We all do she is a great person easy to like." Jack replied
Jackie nodded there were several things she noticed about jack. He was kind and very loving he never said a bad word about any one. he was devoted to the ones he loved. he was very forgiving and he was very devoted to his kids. She loved that feature about Jack. She had only known him for a short time but loved him he was like no other man she had ever met before.
Marine one landed "Bobby all is good Teddy isn't waiting for us." Jack joked
"Are you close to your siblings?" Jackie asked
"Yes we are all very close." Jack replied taking her hand and helping her off the plane. Jackie smiled he was such a gentleman. Kids came running from all parts of camp David Jack smiled and hugged his kids.
"Uncle Teddy threw snowballs at me." Bella told her dad
"Tedward don't be a brat." Bobby told him pulling him into a head lock. Jack gave him a nuggie
"Ow do you see Jackie this is what I put up with on a daily basis." Ted joked as he hit both Jack and Bobby and ran.
Jackie laughed"The answer to your question yes we are very close." Bobby replied
Jack picked up John he carried him into the house.
"Jackie we are very glad your spending the holiday with us." Bella told her taking her bag. She took it to the spare room.
"If you marry this guy he may want to call his next son Huckleberry Finn after his favorite novel." Teddy joked
"You said you would name a kid Chewbacca and call them Chewy for short. Hey Chewy come here here Chewy that sounds like a dog name." Jack tested back
"I like the name Finn or Finley we could call the baby Finn for short." Jackie replied. Jack nodded The Kennedy's got to know Jackie. Kick and Jackie became best friends. Kick liked her and thought she was the one for Jack.
Kick looked over at Jack he was so happy. He was happy to be with them. Eunice walked over to Kick"It's nice to have Jack with us. He is happy. Do you like Jackie?"
"Yes she is sweet. Much nicer than Abby. At least if he marries Jackie she won't keep Jack from us."Eunice nodded she did like the Deb that was Jackie's nickname among some of them.
Christmas Eve
Jack, Kick, Joan, Ethel, Pat, Kate,Jackie and Joe were watching the twenty five kids while the others worked on a surprise for the kids
"Daddy will Santa know we are here?" John asked
"Will he tell his elves where camp David is?" Ted Jr asked as he and John played on the floor.
"Don't worry boys." Jack told them Jackie was holding Josh. He was happy in her arms. Clipper sat on watch over Jackie and Josh. Jacks dog Charlie was outside with Freckles.Jack had told Jackie what they were up to. They had decorated trees they had a big one in the main room. Jacks agents were with their families. They didn't have to worry about Jack he was safe at camp David.Billy walked in and nodded at the adults he said,"Hey kids, ready for your surprise ?"
"Uncle Billy will I like it?" Kerry asked" you will now go grab your coats." Joe told them The kids ran to grab their coats they ran outside with ohs and ahs and oh look at that and I like that.
"Uncle Steve help my coat is stuck." Kerry called
Steve helped his nice
They ushered the kids outside
"Sarge we are ready " Peter called
Sarge flipped a switch to turn on Christmas lights
"Jack camp David looks amazing." Jackie said hugging him.
"Yeah. We wanted to make it special for my nieces and nephews and also for the agents and their families." Jack said looking at the Christmas lights strung up around camp David
"This is nice Jack thank you." John Ready told him
"Merry Christmas John, Drew, Tim, Clint and Emory, have a good day to morrow one without having to worry about me." Jack joked
"Jack if we could keep you here twenty four seven we would." Clint joked back Jack smiled. His agents left with their families Jack watched as Jackie interacted with his kids.Bobby tapped him on the shoulder," Ask her she is the one."Jack nodded He took Bella, Caroline and. John on a walk.
"Daddy I like Jackie she is mommy material. Bella replied as she pet Charlie Charlie always followed Jack around. Where ever you saw Charlie, Jack was near by. Jack took him to the Oval with him if Charlie was left alone he would howl for Jack.
"Daddy why does Charlie follow you?" He asked
"He just does." Jack replied I want to talk to you kids about something." Jack replied
"Daddy camp David is so pretty." Caroline replied
"It is. Do you kids like Jackie?" Jack asked he wanted to get right to the point
"Yes she gives a nice hug and she isn't unloving like mommy and she is happy to hold Josh and she lets you see your family and she lets us be with our cousins." Caroline replied
"So if I asked Jackie to marry me would you three be okay with that?" Jack asked
"Yes Daddy." John replied
Jack hugged and kissed his kids
"Ask her tonight and than get married on New Years eve and than you can go back to the White House a married man." Bella replied
"Go play and sent your Uncle Bobby over here." Jack told his kids hugging them.they ran off.
Bobby walked up
"Is is to early I just lost my wife in November will it look bad?"
"Jack people will talk no matter what. you do or say." Bobby replied
"Yeah. maybe we should spend sometime together." Jack replied
"Jack you do what feels right. I will stick by you no matter what."
"Thanks."
He talked to Stephen, Peter Joe and sarge they all told him what Bobby had.
Jack walked to Jackie she was holding Josh he was dressed in a cute lion snowsuit."Jack i hope you don't mind i saw this and I figured it would look so cute on him.""It does Jackie and thanks. you can buy my kids clothes any time you want. Jackie will you be my girlfriend and go out with me?"
Jackie nodded
Jack slipped his hand in hers and sat watching his kids play with his nephews and nieces. he smiled knowing Jackie would fit in well with his family.
