Jack and Bobby were at the White House in the residence picking up some things for the kids to go to camp David for Christmas. Jackie was going to meet them in an hour on the south lawn.

"Jack can I ask you something? If you don't want to tell me that's alright but it's been on my mind since November 22"

"What about that day?"Jack asked looking at his wrist the scar reminded him every day of that horrible day.

"When I called you you told me .Bobby I killed Abby I switched spots with her. I had her killed. What did you mean you never killed Abby."

"When did I say that?"

"Do you remember much of that day?"

" No I remember you came to Texas. Bobby I don't even remember calling you. I knew Abby was dead. I did switch spots with her. The sun was in her eyes so I switched with her. After that it's just a blurr."

"Okay I had to ask. You didn't kill your wife she died at the hand of a gun man. Not at the hands of her husband. That was a nice thing you did. Jack, John told me he was gald his mom died and you lived."

"Yeah she wasn't very motherly to the kids. She and mom got along great. "

"Jack they were both the same into religion not into being mothers."

Jack nodded he smiled at his bother he spoke," Bobby thanks for always having my back."

"Always Jack. Thanks for having mine."

Jack smiled he couldn't wait for Christmas this year.

"Bobby I think i found my true love is it to early to ask Jackie to marry me?"

"Yeah at least wait a year or so."

Jack nodded and slid the ring back into his pocket . he was feeling so much better these days.

Jack and Bobby were walking to the plane. Jack smiled as he saw Jackie.

"Are you sure its too early?"

Bobby laughed and patted Jack on the shoulder he whispered, "You do what feels right i will stick by you no matter what you decide."

Jack nodded and smiled he knew what he was going to do. would Jackie feel the same he had to find out how she felt before he popped the big question.

"Just remember she is a reporter." Bobby whispered

Jack nodded he knew he had to wait until he knew how Jackie felt about him he had to make sure she liked him. Jack smiled at Jackie as he watched Jackie she was beautiful she smiled back at Jack.

Both holding a secret that they loved each other not knowing how the other felt they wondered if they would be able to tell the other before time ran out.
