She came back holding a plastic white bag. She threw it at me and I hurried forward to catch it. I peered inside with interest.

It had 3 plastic cups, 5 different sizes of brushes, 2 set of water colours pencils and...

"What's this thing?" I held up a black rectangle thing.

"A canvas." she replied while shuffling through a pile of papers.

Wait, a canvas? Seriously? But it's black!

"But it's black!" I said out loud.

She chuckled. "I was joking. It's a black board."

I raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"What's a black board?"

She dropped her papers in surprise, I mean literally.

"You never heard of it?" Lia asked me.

"Yeah, how come?" a male voice came from the door.

I threw a nearby eraser at the door. "Go away, Blaze."

He chuckled before his footsteps echoed away. Oh that annoying, frustrating, irresistable jerk...

Shit...

I felt my cheeks go red.

"No." I stammered, hoping Lia wouldn't have noticed the sudden change of colour on my cheeks.

She shook her head, "you are one of the most weirdest person I've ever met."

"Oh, thanks." I said dryly.

She giggled, "I was joking."

"I knew that." I winked.

I tipped the bag upside down, all the art things rushed out and crashed onto the floor.

"Hey! Don't trash my room!" she hurried over and picked it up.

"Sorry."

She smirked evilly at me, "Oh I'm getting payback"

I felt my heart skip a beat, she was scary.

"Sorry..." I muttered before helping her put them in a neat pile. A fallen pile since there wasn't much.

"So what do I draw on?" I asked her.

"Let's go shopping."

"What? Why? What about our assignment?"

"Duh, we're going to buy a canvas." She stood up and placed her hands on her hips.

"Oh, I knew that." I stuck out my tongue and got up after her.

As expected, when we arrived at the door, Blaze asked us what we were up to.

"Shopping." Lia had replied while she slipped onto her ballet flats.

"Oh can I come?" he asked like a little boy.

"Seriously? How old are you?" I asked while I waited for Lia to finish.

"15. Same age as you." he shrugged.

"How do you know?"

"A little birdy told me." Yeah, and nice punchline.

"And that little birdy might just be your brainless head." I told him.

"Ready, let's go." Lia opened the door and stepped through first.

"Please, I want to come." he pouted.

Man, he was adorable. The brown hair forming a longer messed up fringe than usual, framing his storm eyes. His... OH NO, stop it Kim.
