Chapter 6 - I know it's cheesy!

Mia's p.o.v.-

"Hey! I still haven't got my winter ball dress and the BALL IS TOMORROW" Nikki whined while stating the obvious...

"You have so many! Do we still need to buy new ones! Its not even our own ball! We're organising it for the seniors!" Jessie remarked logically... Not so girly she is.. I know.. but we love her that way...

"Okk Jessie ! I know you are not smitten by shopping but can't we just get a dress! Please?! Atleast for her?! After all she's got a date!" I reasoned .. trying to be on both sides as usual .. by ending my statement wiggling my eyebrows in direction of Nikki ... Just to get her to blush...

"Aww ! Look someone's turning into a big fat tomato!" Jessie played along...

"I'm not f---"

Its just their way to argue along and still remain on the same side...

"Okay ! Enough for the day ! Get your asses up as we are going!" I interrupted Nikki halfway...
Got up from our couch in the dorm room and dragged behind me the two of my most awesomely annoying girlfriends!!

"Do I get this pink one or the -"

"Too girly" - Jessie
"Too pink" - me , speaking simultaneously..

"Or this yellow one?" Nikki raised her perfectly arched eyebrow...

"Naah ! Doesn't compliment your hair!" - the super awesome Mia
"Doesn't suit your skin" - my partner in crime jessie
Nikki glared at Jessie and I but let it go ...doing it again.

"This one?! I like it" Nikki said as she held up a sea blue dress that ended midthigh in the front while trailed to the floor from the back...

"Better !" - funky Jessie
"You can take it" - that would be me!!

"Enough Jessie and Mia! Stop doing that! You both look creepy"

"What are we even doing??" I smiled innocently just as .. at the same time ...

"More like we sound creepy!" Jessie gave a cheesy grin..
Doing it for the last time...

It had been our plan to do this.. to annoy the hell out of Nikki.. as we know it gets under her nerves that we both do something together or even think or speak together or similar thoughts without her... As if jealous!! Haha ! So cute it was that we had so grown up on each other in just a couple of months ... Umm not exactly cuz they both were already close I was an addition that made them and this friendship better.... I sometimes seriously want to pat myself over the shoulder to find such awesome friends...

Just as I zoned into the real , Jessie's stomach growled out aloud , although not too loud ... Haha ... That would have been a scene .... Nikki and I smiled in chorus coz we were hungry too.

We rushed to the food court in the mall and ordered a medium margherita pizza .... Yumm... Even thinking of that cheesy deliciousness...
Just dreaming and drooling over that heavenly food... In no time a pizza was delivered at our table ....

I could smell something suspicious although the cheese overpowered it and I grabbed the box... There was a nametag on the box that said MIA but I neglected it as I thought it would be a custom of that pizza shop to pin there customer's name on the box....

Food was calling me... I opened the box and grabbed a piece after Jessie and Nikki had snatched their own... I was still wondering how could our pizza be ready so soon.... As soon as I took a bite off the slice in my hand I noticed a handwritten note on the above side of the box...

" I know it's cheesy ,
But will you go to prom with me?"
