Chapter 26Zoe's Pov.
It's Friday.
And today is the finals.
I guess you could say that I was totally freaking the fuck out. I felt Damon stir next to me. His green eyes slowly opened to meet mine.
"Good morning beautiful." He mutters to me. I lean over to give him a kiss on the cheek.
"I have to go wash up. Join me?" He nods his head and sits up. We make our way into the bathroom. I throw his shirt that I was wearing, over my head followed by my underwear. He undressed and stepped into the shower with me.
I let the warm water hit my back as I faced him. I took a sponge and some soap and lathered it together. Scrubbing the sponge against his chest, I washed him while staring into his eyes.
"Ready for the game tonight?" I nod my head. He takes some shampoo and motions for me to turn around. He lathers my hair with my favorite Apple shampoo.
"As ready as I'll ever be." I breath out. Once we were done washing each other, we headed to the sink to brush our teeth. We made funny faces at each other in the mirror.
I made my way to my closet and threw a shirt at him, followed by some shorts. We basically shared a closet.
"I never know what to where!" I pout as I survey my clothes. Damon walks into the closet and wraps his arms around my waist.
"How about... This one?" He motions to his old quarterback shirt from when he was the quarterback. I tilt my head up to meet his.
"Okay." I pick that out along with some tight leggings. I decide to tie my hair into a messy bun. We make our way downstairs. We're greeting by my mom cooking pancakes.
"Gotta go mom, don't have time for breakfast." She instantly scolds me.
"Come back here right now Zoe Hockens! Breakfast is-"
"The most important meal of the day. Yeah I know." I sink into my seat as Damon follows.
"They're chocolate chip." My mood instantly brightens, resulting in Damon laughing at me.
I loved chocolate chip pancakes. They were to die for.
"Oh shit monkey balls!" I suddenly realize something. My mom frowns at me for swearing, but doesn't say much else.
"What?" Damon raises an eyebrow at me.
"I forgot about the paper." I knew I was going to forget about that damn paper. Damon tenses up.
"I forgot also." I sigh. At least we both forgot instead of just me. He turns towards me with a smirk.
"Sike! Just kidding, I actually did do mine." I look at him in disbelief. How did he manage to do the paper?
"When? How? Where?" I was flabbergasted.
"I did mine about a week ago." I glare at him and punch him in the arm.
Great! Now I was the only one who didn't do my paper.
"Okay! We have to go." I finish woofing down my pancakes and I drink a glass of milk.
"Damn girl, slow down!" Damon jokes with me. I shoot him a playful glare.
We rush out the door and make our way to Damon's car. Since he had driven over here last night, it would be easier to just take his car.
