Into the Woods (Part 2)

Sasori POV

"Where the hell is he?" I mumbled to myself, getting thoroughly annoyed at myself for actually searching for him. "If this continues, I'm gonna lose the bet to that weasel..."

"What bet, un?" I heard from above my head.

Looking up, I saw a blob of blond floating amongst the trees. "Get down from there. We need to report to Pein."

"Don't wanna," Deidara pouted and crossed his arms.

I growled. This kid is getting on my nerves.

"Get down here. NOW." I seethed through clenched teeth.

"No," he replied simply.

"I'm losing my patience, brat."

"Apologize and I might consider coming down," the blond idiot stuck out his tongue at me.

"Apologize for what? I've never apologized to anyone before, and you're not gonna be my first," I said, annoyance clear in my voice.

Deidara yawned, stretched, and reclined into a comfortable position on the tree. "Then I guess I'm not coming down.

"Brat," I muttered under my breath. Not going to wait any longer, I hopped onto the branch next to where he lazed and scooped him up in my arms. "You're getting one hell of a beating when we get back to base," I growled irritably.

The blond blushed a deep shade of red, which caused me to rethink my decision. The proximity of his face to mine caused a slight burning sensation to form on my cheeks (not that I let the blond idiot notice). Jumping from branch to branch, we landed in a clearing. I set him down and he stumbled to his feet.

Deidara POV

Ignoring my Danna's angry shouts, I made myself at home on this lovely tree. Suddenly, I felt a pair of strong arms pick me up. Glancing up, I noticed Danna's face hovering above mine. "DANNA IS HOLDING ME!!!!! OMFG!!!!! *cue random fangirling sounds* OMG!!!!" I shouted in my head. Feeling my face burn several shades darker, I buried my face into his cloak.

Moments later, we landed at the edge of the forest. He set me down, catching me off guard as I stumbled to my feet. I heard him chuckle behind me, which only made me blush harder. Calm down. Nothing happened. All he did was carry me.

"OHMYGOD SASORI NO DANNA HELD ME!!! *more fangirling noises*"

After calming down, I followed Danna to the hideout. This is going to be a long day...
