The Birthday From Hell

It was insane. I looked around and everywhere there were outlandish decorations. One of my favorite stories from when I was smaller had been Alice in Wonderland but this was like a gothic version of it. I decided to call it Malice in Underland. The walls were black with neon paint depicting hauntingly beautiful scenes and their creator? none other than Aignorous. The lightbulbs were replaced with blacklight bulbs and the whole room had an eerie mystic glow. The balloons were purple and blue and black as well as the shimmering streamers. The whole party was supposed to be masquerade so I dressed myself in black ripped tights and a neon electric blue mini skirt. I was wearing a black scooped neck tanktop with a toxic neon green strapless shirt. Under it the ripped sleeves went to my elbows and was the same electric blue as my skirt. Half the back was missing showing a tattoo I had of a music note. My slip on ankle stilettos were toxic green and my fingerless fishnet gloves were also green. That with my makeup that transformed my face into shadows and my black fedora with the purple ribbon that matched my eyes my outfit was complete. Except for my mask which was an elaborate black half mask with moonstones inlaid in it. My black hair fell in waves with blue streaks all throughout it and I felt like a gothic princess. The party was already started by the time I arrived and many people I didn't know were there dancing and making out grossly though I really couldn't say anything considering me and Karno's relationship. And considering Karno I spotted him in Leon's body flirting with a really cute girl who I knew for a fact was a whore. I stood up to go snatch him away when Scorpio appeared in front of me and smiled. I wracked my mind a second before I remembered it was Zyglavis standing there I sighed and smiled at him "hey Scorpio" his smile dimmed slightly "hey Victoria". I stepped closer and then thought something if Karno was going to be that way...I whispered into his ear softly "hey Zyglavis" then I pulled back and smiled. A blush appeared on his face and he seemed to be stumbling over his words "so I was just...um I didn't see you so...I mean I wasn't like looking or anything but....." he paused and took a deep breath "do you want to dance!". I couldn't help but laugh at how cute he was acting and he frowned "of course I'll dance with you". The frown disappeared and a beautiful smile lit his face that warmed my insides as he led me to the floor. His arms wrapped around my waist pulling me to him as he danced slowly to a moderately fast song but he seemed to be in his own world as he stared at me with a softness in his eyes that put me at ease in his arms. We danced just staring at each other but my mind drifted off to Karno him flirting with that girl and I felt a dark emotion well up in me but why? it wasn't as if he was my boyfriend he was just a manipulative jackass yet I still felt betrayal. Then I slowly came back as Scorpio's face drew closer with the intent of kissing me I froze and saw Karno in front of me push the girl away as she went to kiss him and I felt that resonate in me along with many other memories. When Karno defended me on parents day when he first kissed me gently when he got jealous over Zyglavis kissing me when he wiped the guys memories of our incident when he pulled me away from kissing Dui when I thought it was him and now pushing that girl away. Every memory swirled in my head and warmed me in ways that I never thought possible so just when Zyglavis was a breath away from kissing me I pulled away and looked at him sadly shaking my head. He looked hurt and sad then he sighed and smiled brokenly at me it tore at my heart to see him like that. Where Zyglavis was sweet Karno was mean where Zyglavis put me first Karno put his self first and where Zyglavis loved me Karno needed me. But the main difference that I didn't admit to myself until after the party was over and I was laying in bed pretending to be asleep was...that where I liked Zyglavis...I loved Karno even more.
