I went to school the next day pissed off, and also confused, why did he kiss me like that? I was lost as to what that meant, but I discarded it as I went through the school day. I was walking home from school when Zyglavis caught up to me and walked along with me. It was a slightly awkward silence for a little, but he soon started talking. "So I know that what I did yesterday wasn't acceptable by any means. I made you feel threatened and I hate that, but I want to let you know you shouldn't do things like that with Karno. He will only use you and throw you away, but I find that unacceptable since you deserve better. So please, don't let him use you, find a healthy relationship please?" I felt warm inside at his concern and flashed a small smile. We showed up in front of the house and I stopped to grab his hand as I faced him.
"I know last night looked a little misleading, but me and Karno aren't like that, we're enemies, and I don't like him at all. Last night was just him trying to aggravate me and assert his dominance, but I won't fall prey to him, I promise. So don't worry ok?" I smiled and he seemed to look relieved. I felt warmth bubble up, and I felt a little shy as I looked at him. His cheeks were dusted a rosy red as he smiled at me. He put a finger under my chin and lifted my head higher, bringing his face down slowly, as if giving me time to pull away. I had no such urges to do that. Once his lips met mine in a soft melting kiss, any shyness or hesitation faded away. I wrapped my arms around his neck, kissing him deeper. His lips soft but urgent pushed harder, and I felt his tongue caress mine as I entwined them. Then I heard a voice. It was eerily calm as it said,"If your going to kiss her, take it to your room, nobody wants to see that." It was Karno, his voice cold and calm, it worried me so I pulled away just as he walked into the house. Zyglavis looked at me sadly for a moment, but then his expression changed to his familiar smile."Go ahead and pacify him, just be careful ok? I don't need him to be an abuser on top of a rapist." If the circumstances were different, I would have laughed it off, but then again if circumstances were different, I wouldn't be running after Karno. But that was exactly what I did. I entered the room to see him working on his homework, "Karno..." I said his name hesitantly and he ignored me, as if I didn't exist, working on his computer. "Karno" I said his name more forcefully, he still ignored me. I finally gave up and walked to him, "Look I don't know what your problem is-" but I didn't get to finish as he tossed his laptop onto my bed. He got up, pinning me to the wall with a mean expression I had never seen on him. "You don't know what my problem is? My problem is the fact that you were making out with Zyglavis! That you can just stand there and kiss him after all that we've done! And you don't know what my fucking problem is? It's you bitch! You're my fucking problem!" Tears sparked my eyes as I yelled, "Well you're not my fucking boyfriend! Unlike you Zyglavis is a sweet gentleman! And you're a fucking rapist! And on top of that he actually fucking likes me! So yeah, I don't know what your problem is because I'm not fucking yours to get jealous over!" He froze and his face flickered with pain as he let me go, "Yeah, you're right, I'm not your fucking boyfriend, so I don't have any claim on you kissing Zyglavis. But I am very much entitled to my jealousy, because he wants to take you from me, and as much as I hate how we are, I won't just give you up to some pansy assed bastard!" He turned away and went to walk out the door when impulse took over me. So I grabbed his shoulder, pulled him to me, and kissed him.
