Ok and back to the story. So today was bring your parents to school day, and I had a hard day ahead of me. I was sitting in my desk as people would whisper rude things like 'look it's little miss lonely' or 'wow it must really suck to know your parents killed themselves just to avoid this'...it got to me more than usual. Then I heard a voice that shocked me to my core,
"Can you all just shut the fuck up about her! So her parents are dead, so what? If your parents were dead and you didn't have anybody, would you want me to point out how much of a disappointment you are because you didn't stop it?" Everyone was shocked, including me, but then somebody clapped as they walked into the room. It was a man with whitish hair and eyes. He walked up to Karno and said,
"Good job son, I'm very proud of you for sticking up for that girl." He then turned to me,
"Hi, my name is Legolas, I am Karno's father, I'm sorry about your parents." I shook my head.
"Thank you, um, I'm Victoria, nice to meet you," I held out my hand to shake his, and was a little shocked and embarrassed when he kissed it softly. "Well you know, if your an orphan I would be happy to adopt you," I froze. What?! but Karno spoke for me,
"Dad I don't think-" he was cut off as Legolas said,
"Well then, it's settled I will adopt you and finally have a cute daughter!" Just a few short hours after that my life was turned upside down. I moved in to Legolas house and had to room with my mortal enemy. Karno.
