Maya POV: I'm really nervous to talk about this with "Wes". We both sat down, facing each other and just stared at each other.
Very quietly Lucas asked, "Avery was it?" Then he smiled.
I smiled and responded, "Yes, and I recall your name is Wes?"
"It's been a while hasn't it?" He asked jokingly.
"Sure has Wes." I answered.
We both smiled and laughed a little bit. God I love when he smiles, it's so perfect. His laugh is cute too.
"Lucas, Wes, ranger Rick, huckleberry, Sundance, hopalong, cowboy, what ever your name is, you thought we connected on the plane?" I asked curiously.
"Maya, Avery, short stack, pancake, whatever your name is, you thought we connected on the plane too?" He asked while smiling.
"Well yeah, but that was before we went separate ways Lucas." I said and he grinned.
"I'm no different than before. Yeah I have a new look and I stopped dying my hair dark brown but "Avery" I think about you all the time." He said and bought me a frappè like when we first met.
"Look Lucas, I don't know if you are the same person as before. I opened up to Wes because he seemed understanding. He would look at me and ask questions." I said and then took a sip of my drink.
"Well if me and you ever actually sit down and talk, like now, I will do that." He said while smiling
"Huckleberry I think we did connect in the plane." I said hoping he felt the same way.
He happily responded, "I know we connected."
Out of no where I blurted out, "I like you Lucas" and covered my mouth. I was so nervous. What will he say?
