Chapter 4

Lucas POV: Maya likes me. What do I say?

"Um.. i-i like you too." I said very nervously.

Maya seemed relieved about what I said and smiled. "So.. what now, Wes?" She said and let out a small giggle

I couldn't help but smile. Maya Hart likes me. Wow.

"Um.. Do you want to goto the movies with me? Like.. on a.. on a d-date?" I asked nervously hoping I didn't sound stupid.

Maya got a big smile on her face and said, "I'd love to Lucas"

Wow. I have a date with Maya Hart, wow.

Maya POV: Yes! Ranger Rick asked me out! I'm so excited. He will be my first actually date. God I'm happy. I'm actually happy for once. Wow.

While trying to contain my happiness I asked, "What should I call you? Wes, Lucas, or those nicknames?"

He just smiled and said, "You pick, pancake."

I giggled a tiny bit and looked up at him. "You know I'm at the perfect height, that when we hug, I can hide my face against your neck." I said and smiled.

He seemed happy and got a small grin on his face and said calmly "That's true. Very true. But there is another advantage to your height"

I smiled and tilted my head, waiting to hear this.

He put his forehead against mine and said quietly, "You're the perfect height, for me to kiss you and then put my head against yours. Like so."

I just smiled and nodded, keeping my head against his. I was wondering if he would kiss me or not.

Lucas POV: I couldn't help it, I looked into her eyes. Her beautiful, blue, sparkling eyes. They reminded me of the ocean.

Maya was also looking me in the eyes and smiled. I leaned in a tiny bit and she did the same. We were nose to nose and then...
