We've Met Before...

Chapter 5

Lucas POV: We were nose to nose and then...

"Maya! Lucas! We're you going to kiss?!", Farkle asked while running over.

I honestly didn't know if we were going to.

"N-No, No we weren't..." I said nervously and backed up from maya.

Maya then said,"I'd never kiss Ranger Rick! You're crazy! I don't even like him!"

This really hurt, even though I know she was lying to Farkle.

"Well, I'll go, you two love birds have fun." He said with a smirk on his face.

I then asked, "love birds? But we don-"

"You do, you like each other." Farkle said, interrupting me.

Maya then said, "Fine. Maybe me and Ranger Rick.. have a unofficial thing. But you tell anyone I'll mess You up son." Pointing at Farkle.

Farkle seemed a little scared and said, "Don't worry Maya. Secrets safe with me." He looked at me and said, "Is your moment, ever going to be YOUR moment lucas?" He then walked away.

Maya POV: What is Farkle talking about? I'm kind of confused.

"So Lucas..." I said kind of nervous and awkward.

Lucas asked me,"Um.. what we're we doing before Farkle came?"

I blushed really bad, I know I did and said to him, "I think.. we were about to kiss, Lucas."

He nodded and seemed nervous to ask, "Do you want to continue where we left off? Or just.. forget it and go for a walk or something?"

I smiled and said, "You pick. I don't care."

He seemed nervous still but said, "I'm asking because I don't want to go for it, and be turned down or something. I don't want to be rejected."

I looked him in the eyes and said calmly, "Were dating Lucas, you don't have to worry about being rejected."

Lucas nodded, looking into my eyes. He seemed more relaxed now.

Lucas POV: Maya seemed very happy about me and her dating.. I want her to be happy.

We were just looking into eachothers eyes. I was very relaxed, forgetting about everything around us.

I was about to make a move and kiss her, but suddenly she puts her lips against mine.

I smiled, and kissed back. I think we kissed for about a minute and then we slowly pulled away.

She began saying, "Lucas I'm sorr-"

Then out of nowhere Riley ran over.

She was smiling and jumping up and down. "You kissed! Yay! I'm so happy that Maya is happy!"
