Isaac's POV
--

"Emerick was taken? Darn," Stiles muttered sarcastically.

Derek frowned, "Do you even understand how bad this is?"

"Obviously not that bad?" I mumbled. "I mean Andy isn't dead...?"

Derek frowned, "Well technically, he's been dead for a while."

"But the point is, I didn't kill him," I continued, "Derek, why didn't you mention vampires existing?"

"Because they're supposed to be extinct."

"Oh."

"Wait! Isaac, say that again!" Tori said suddenly hopping to her feet.

"Oh?" I repeated.

"No, before that..."

"The point is, I didn't kill him. Derek, why didn't you mention vampires existing?" I repeated.

Claire's eyes widened, "Oh. OH. TORI I UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU'RE SAYING!"

Tori nodded, "Isaac... how are your eyes blue if you didn't kill Andy?"

Stiles gasped, "Isaac... that means you killed someone else."

Derek face palmed, "And this is exactly why I don't like teen wolves. So hard to handle, with all they're killing sprees..."

"Excuse me? Killing sprees? He killed one person?" Tori defended me.

"You don't know that," I muttered. "I need to get Emerick back. I don't want to get anyone else hurt."

Derek leaned back, wiped some dirt off his leather jacket and laughed, "Hurt? Everyone is going to get hurt. You can't stop people from getting hurt."

Tori nodded, "Yes, but we can stop people from getting killed though."

"And that's kind of better," Claire agreed.

"Yeah, I guess," I whispered remembering my fingers stained red and the smell of death. Might I say, it wasn't a great smell.

I thought about it for a moment. I knew what pain was like and I knew it was a feeling no one should ever experience. I came to a conclusion.

"I'm going to find Emerick right now. I'm a murderer. I need to do this alone. I'm not letting anyone else get hurt..." I said raising my voice.

Derek gazed at me, "Don't make promises you can't keep."

"Isaac," Tori warned, "Let's think about this before we do anything stupid. We can't have you dying on us."

"No, I'm going now."

"Isaac, please just give us a few minutes to think about this," Claire added.

"No," I said as I started to walk away.

Stiles jumped in front of me to block my path, "Can't let you do this, sorry bud."

"Stiles. Let. Me. Go," I growled.

"Thats not the password," He answered crossing his arms and not budging.

"Stiles..." I tried to walk around him but he continued to block my path.

"Isaac, this is a trap; you're going to fall into the trap, and get trapped because that's what traps do!"

"I'm going." I continued to try to avoid him but he jumped in front of me again.

"I can't let you. Isaac, you're my best friend. I'm not letting you walk into this. Just give us five minutes to discuss this." Stiles pleaded.

"Stiles... You can't stop me."

"Fine... but if you're going, you're taking me down with you." He said.

Tori and Claire stepped forward, "Obviously, if you guys are going to do something entirely stupid, we have to go too," They stated.

Derek frowned, "This is dumb. Very, very dumb." He sighed, "I'm coming as well."

"So were all going with no plan?" Claire asked.

"No there's a plan. No one dies."  I murmered.

Tori laughed nervously, "Good plan."

--

We began to walk around the forest. The tree's loomed creepily, casting dark shadows all over the ground. The moon's light shone through the tree tops creating a mysterious white glow upon everything in the he forest. The chilled atmosphere caused a mist to arise over the peaks of the preserve. It looked as if it was a scene directly out of a horror movie.

Derek, Stiles, and I sniffed around the forest. Tori and Claire were told to follow along behind us to make sure we weren't be followed.

I could smell traces of deer, squirrels, people, and blood; but that could've been me.

"What exactly do vampires smell like?" Stiles asked Derek after sniffing around the base of a tree.

"I don't know! I was unaware they still existed until like an hour ago. Vampires are new to me too." He exclaimed, obviously frustrated that he didn't actually know everything.

Stiles lifted a handful of leaves on the ground under the tree he was sniffing, "Okay, well is there a possibility that they smell like blood, rotten flesh, and..." He closed his eyes, put his nose real close to the leaves, and sniffed the pile of leaves, "And uh... cotton candy perfume?"

I frowned, confused, "Cotton candy perfume?"

"Yeah," Stiles murmured glancing up the tree, "Oh it's not a vampire, its just the dead girl hanging up on that branch above me," He said nonchalantly. He looked back down and then suddenly widened his eyes and leaped backwards, "THERE IS A DEAD GIRL HANGING ABOVE ME AND HER BLOOD IS DRIPPING EVERYWHERE. THIS IS NOT OKAY. NOPE. LETS NOT."

Derek leaped up onto the first branch on the tree and then climbed up to where she was. He picked her up and jumped to the ground; the girl in his arms.

Everyone gathered around Derek and looked at the girl who had to be around our age.

She had penny colored hair coming down to below her shoulders, freckles, and dead brown eyes that seemed to stare lifelessly.

Derek put her carefully onto the ground, brushed her hair out of the way to check her neck. On her neck was a vampire bite.

"Okay. So is she dead?" Claire said poking her.

Derek closed her eyelids, stood up and backed away from her body, "I... I think so."

The girl suddenly opened her eyes, her eyes were suddenly shining - glowing - bright green, she opened her mouth to reveal sharp fangs.

She leaped up from the ground and snarled, "You wish."
