Sighing I glanced out the window.The rain slowly ran down the glass as if the goddess was weeping for the fallen.I had to choose a new beta until Jayden was of age to be beta.Winter walked in wrapping her arms around me.

"Fine I guess by so much has happened and I feel as if their needs to be one more small battle before the packs clash In a full scale battle and many will die"I sighed
"What ever you decide the pack will follow you they need you Lucas during this time they to know that their alpha is going to do whatever it takes to get peace back"Winter smiled

"Thanks winter I needed that"Leaning over and kissing her lips.
"Alpha Parker may I come in"Xavier spoke

"Brother the pack is worried their has been no new naming of the beta and they are worried.Even they have you and Luna Winter"Fear flashed in Xavier's eyes
"If it helps you I'll call a meeting now"Winter spoke
Glancing at Winter I smiled
"All member to the meeting room" Linking the whole pack
Getting up I took Winters hand in mine as we made our way to the meeting room.
Hopping up on stage the pack went silent.
"As you know Beta Landon and his mate my sister Storm where killed by Alpha Derek,and i have figured out who the new beta will be,and I have decided that Xavier will be the new beta"
"Are you sure" Xavier glanced at me
"Of. Course now get some border patrols out"
"This meeting is dismissed"
Glancing at the time I headed up to my room.Winter by my side we laid down.
"Winter my love your the best thing that's happened to me this year,but I don't know much about you"
"Well both my parent were rouges and killed in a car accident and that left me to fend for myself so I've gone through a lot"Winter signed
Wrapping my arm around her I smiled
