(David's POV)

I ran to the lunch room the second day back in school, waiting impatiently for my red headed beauty to walk in. She ran in, running straight into my arms. I kissed the top of her head and held her against my chest, breathing in her scent of Japanese Cherry Blossoms. I felt her grip on my t-shirt tighten as small tears flowed down her cheeks. I pulled back and looked down at her, wiping her tears away.

"No being sad, only happy."

She smiled and nodded, "These are happy tears."

I chuckled and brushed my thumb against her cheek, feeling her lean into my touch, "Good."

We sat down and I turned to face her completely, listening to all her stories and telling her mine as we enjoyed each other's company for that short half hour. Maintaining eye contact the entire time, constantly having our legs touch as we sat there, and memorizing each other's voices and faces. The bell rang to soon and we slowly stood, making our way back to class at a snails pace. She watched the ground as we walked, keeping her hands behind her back as I whispered in her ear, "Oh, yeah, by the way...I love you."

She looked up at me quickly and smiled, "I love you too."

As soon as the words left her mouth, her back was against the locker, my lips pressed against hers. We kissed passionately, letting us feel like the only two people alive. Nothing mattered but her lips on mine. She was the air that I needed to breathe, the fire in my heart, the other half to my soul. We hesitantly stopped as the warning bell rang, signaling everyone to get to class now. I kissed her one last time before she sprinted away, scared to be late for her class. I slipped into my seat and smirked to myself, I had finally kissed the girl that filled my dreams.

As the last two hours of class disappeared, I thought of nothing but Annette's lips. The small soft pink pair that fought with mine roughly as I tried to establish my dominance. All I want to do is feel them on mine again.

The bell rings and I gather my things, walking out quickly and seeing Annette walking towards me again. I gather her in my arms and kiss her again, refusing to let her go. I feel her arms go around my neck as I deepen the kiss, licking her bottom lip for permission and feeling her gasp as I stick my tongue inside her mouth. Her knees give out and I pick her up, breathing heavily as I pull back and smirk. I put her back on her feet and grab her hand, pulling her through the now empty hallway. We run down the halls, kissing quickly as I leave through my exit and she runs to hers. My phone vibrates in my pocket and I pull it out after crossing the street.

(My Annette) I wonder what other things your lips can do...

I gaped at her text and walked slowly, trying to think of a good answer, smirking when I finally think of something.

(Me) Maybe you'll find out one day...but that day might not be anytime soon.

(My Annette) Don't tease me.

I chuckled and stood at a red light.

(Me) Oh I wouldn't dream of it, little lady.

(My Annette) You must dream of it then because you were just teasing, idiot.

(Me) Oh your words hurt me, darling.

I put my phone in my bag and smirked as the light turned green, jogging across the crosswalk before slipping in to my mom's car. I smile at her and throw my bag down, watching the road as she speeds away from the street leading me to Annette.

Stacy introduced herself to Annette, making me notice how quiet she had gotten now that Stacy had started sitting beside me, forcing her back into the seat across from me. I took my phone out and texted her.

(Me) Talk to me, baby.

She glanced down at her phone and sighed, picking it up and typing quickly.

(My Annette) There's nothing to say.

(Me) Tell me what's wrong.

(My Annette) Nothing's wrong.

(Me) Don't lie to me, little lady. You'll pay the consequences for that.

(My Annette) Fine. What is Stacy to you?

(Me) Oh don't worry about her. We're just friends, I promise.

She visibly relaxed and I smiled at her, brushing her legs with mine. She smiled back and started paying attention to the conversation going on between Stacy and Tammy, who had actually showed up for school. I watched as she laughed quietly at the topic and brushed against my legs more, showing that she knew my eyes were on her. I smirked and stared at her more, feeling her small foot kick my muscular leg under the table as she tried to get me to stop staring. She left the conversation and glared at me, clearly not wanting me to stare at her anymore. I stared back and smiled, challenging her silently. After a few seconds, her eyes traveled down to the table and she silently cursed, making me laugh. My phone vibrated and I glanced down.

(My Annette) Wipe that stupid grin off your face.

I laughed harder and looked back up at her, making her scowl at me. The bell rang and I texted her before standing.

(Me) I'm gonna hug you.

(My Annette) No you're not.

(Me) Oh yeah? Watch me.

I snuck behind her as she read the text, smirking before wrapping my arms around her from behind and whispering in her ear, "I told you I would."

She turned and rolled her eyes at me, walking backward and laughing at me, "That doesn't count as a hug."

I narrowed my eyes at her, "Well then, let me actually give you a hug that counts."

Her eyes widened as I chased her through the hall, catching up quickly and picking her up in my arms. She squealed and giggled as I kissed her face repeatedly, refusing to let her go. I put her down when Tammy cleared her throat and gesture to all the people watching our little display of affection in the hallway. She grabbed Annette's hand and dragged her away, barely giving me the chance to wave goodbye before they turned the corner.

I entered my class and smiled at the teacher, taking my seat and checking my phone for the fifth time in two minutes. Finally giving up and putting it away as the teacher started speaking again.
