(Annette's POV)
Tammy pulled me away from David as fast as she could, causing me to trip a few times before I finally stopped her. She turned to look at me with tears streaming down her face and I glanced around, pulling her into the bathroom before anyone saw her. She slid down the wall and I crouched in front of her, handing her a tissue from my bag. I put a hand on her knee as she calmed down slowly, blowing her nose.
"What happened?" I asked her quietly, rubbing her shoulder.
"Patrick went back to his ex-girlfriend. He left me. I love him, Annie, and he left me." she said in between breaths, more tears flowing down her face as the bell rings.
I glance up at the ceiling and hand her another tissue, "He doesn't deserve you. You're an amazing girl who doesn't deserve to be hurt like that. Do you want me to kill him?"
She shook her head, "No, I just want to punch him. Can I punch him?"
I smiled and nodded, "On the last of day of school, when you can't get expelled."
We nodded at each other and laughed, standing and preparing ourselves to be yelled at by our teacher.

After we got our tardy slips and returned back to class for the last ten minutes, I checked my phone. The blank screen sent my mood plummeting and I dropped my phone back into my bag, crossing my arms and sitting back in my seat, closing my eyes. A poke to my stomach makes me open my eyes and look to my left. Shawn smiles and waves at me, "So what's going on between you and David?"
I rolled my eyes, "None of your business."
"I want to make it my business. I still care about you getting hurt, Annie. That's not something I want to see happen." he stated matter of factly.
Tammy walked up to my desk, trying to hide her red eyes and yell at Shawn, "Get your nose out of other's people business. You lost all privileges to her life when you broke up with her."
He opened his mouth just as the bell rang, giving him the cue to get out of the class as fast as possible. I stood slowly, gathering my books and walking out the door with Tammy behind me. We walked in silence, waving goodbye as I reached my class. I walked in and sat down quietly, taking out my Latin textbook and doing my homework while waiting patiently for the bell to ring. Halfway through the class, I took my phone out and checked it, my eyes brightening as David's name pops up.
(David) I saw you. ;)
(Me) You did?
(David) Yeah I saw you running into your class.
(Me) Ohhh
I put my phone down and finished my homework, picking it back up to check Instagram and wait for the bell to ring.
(Me) Would the bell ring already?
(David) I know! Only 10 more minutes though.
I put my phone in my bag with the rest of my stuff and stood up with the rest of the class, waiting by my desk for the bell to ring. I rolled my eyes at the immature group in front of me and sighed at their stupidity. The bell finally ringing and everyone walking out as fast as they can. I stepped out, walking straight into David's chest. I stumbled and he caught me before I fell back, pulling me to a doorway. I smiled up at him and he smiled back, "Hey there."
"Hi," he pulled me to his chest and looked down into my eyes, putting his hands on both sides of my face and kissing me. I smiled against his lips and pulled back, pulling him out into the hallway.
"I almost missed my bus for kissing you to much before, so we need to get moving," I said, trying to pull him farther but failing miserably as he resisted.
He pouted down at me, "But I want to kiss you again..."
I kissed him quickly and gestured for him to walk down the hallway, wanting to get him to move. He sighed and picked me up, making me squeal as he carried me through the hallways, putting me down and kissing me again. I pulled back and smiled, "I have to go! I can't miss the bus."
He nodded and hugged me tightly, letting go and watching me run down the hallway, tripping halfway down but not falling. I blushed deeply and ran outside, jogging the last few steps to get on the bus. I collapsed into my seat, breathing heavily and closing my eyes.

I stepped off the bus and quickly headed towards my house, taking out my phone and smiling at the text I already had.
(David) I saw you trip!
I blushed at the reference to earlier and slowly typed back.
(Me) Thanks for reminding me.
(David) It was cute.
(Me) Yeah right.
I put my phone in my pocket and went rooting through my bag for the house key, finally finding it and unlocking the door. I walked through the door and greeted my mother, heading up the stairs and collapsing on my bed, taking my phone out again.
(David) It was! Did you miss the bus?
(Me) It was not! And no, I didn't.
(David) Good.
I plugged my phone into the charger and turned over, getting under my blanket and taking a nap.
