CHAPTER 6

Calum's POV

I can't believe she said yes!

Anyway, Anna, Kat and I walked out to the van and got in. I just couldn't stop smiling.

"Has Cal asked you out yet?" Ashton said, probably to Kat.

Before we could say anything, Anna bursted like bubble;

"Okay, I can't take this anymore!" She screamed. "Cal asked Kat out in a really cute but awkward way and it was just so adorable!"

I turned to the back because that's where the girls were sitting (other than Sage) and I saw that Kat was sunken back into her seat and blushing and now, I was blushing too. I turned around and looked at Ashton, who was now smirking at me. Well basically the all the boys were smirking at me.

"What?" I asked. Hoping to get a reasonable answer as to why they're all smiling at me.

"Nothing." Ashton said, laughing a bit as he turned his head back to the road.

When we got to the mall, we went with the girls to this prom store.

Kathryn's POV

We got to the mall and I just couldn't stop thinking about why Cal would even like me. But he does so I'll get over it. We took the boys to a store called 'Prom World' and started looking at dresses. I found a really nice red skater dress with red lace over top and a black belt. I looked at the tag and it was only $34.99! It's so cheap!

I took it and went to find the girls.

"Hey guys! I found a dress!" I said, holding the dress up for them to see. "I'm gonna go try it on, does anyone else have a dress?"

"Um yeah, hows this one?" Shiloh asked, holding up a cute mint colored maxi dress with white poka-dots and mint mesh on the skirt part of the dress.

"Oh my god it looks amazing!" Anna said. "Go try it on with Kat!"

"Okay."

Shiloh and I went into the fitting rooms and, well, changed into our dresses. I was the first to come out and when I did, Sage and Anna were on the bench waiting for us.

"Hey guys!" I said, getting there attention. "how, does this look?" I give the dress a little twirl as the boys come in.

"Ooh that looks nice! And sorry we were late, kinda ambushed by fans." Cal said.

"Oh thanks," I replied to Cal, obviously blushing. "well um, do you guys want to leave? Since there's so many people here?"

"Yeah, probably should, like, before they have to shut down the mall!" Luke said letting out a small chuckle.

"Okay, le-" I started to say, but Cal cut me off.

"Wait, can I talk to you first?"

"Okay?" I say, a little worried. I told him one second and went to go change.

I came out and headed over to Calum and the rest, gave Shiloh the dress since I already gave her my money for my dress. When we got into a little corner away from the others, I asked "So what's up?" looking Calum in the eye. And since he was taller than me, I had to tilt my head upwards.

"Oh, I didn't mean to worry you back there." He said looking down. "I just wanted to tell you I'll be picking you up tomorrow night around 6, okay?"

"Okay!" I say, probably blushing by now. "for the date, right?"

"Yeah," He says, laughing a little. "and maybe wear the dress you just got?"

"Of course!" I say, laughing as well. "if I don't spill anything on it tonight!"

"Cool."

We went back to the fitting rooms to see that there were even more fans coming into the store but we couldn't find the rest of our, "group" so Calum and I ran out of the store, ignoring all the fans trying to grab him. My phone started to ring so I took it out of my pocket and saw that it was Shiloh, so I pressed the 'answer' button.

"Shiloh! Where are you guys!" I yelled into the phone, maybe a bit too loud.

"We're in the parking lot! Hurry your asses up!"

"Okay, okay! Jeez so rude."

"Whatever, you guys have to go through the back doors and make sure no one sees you." Shiloh says. "we'll be waiting there!"

"Got it!" I say hanging up.

I gripped my hand on Cal's arm very tightly and pulled him behind these huge bushes and told him the plan. He nodded and took out a neck warmer from his pocket. Weird that he had that in his pocket, but he's prepared so I'm pretty damn thankful. I guess this happens a lot.

He put the neck warmer around his neck and bottom half of his face and put on my sunglasses and we sorta ran towards the back doors.

Oh Hallelujah we got out and before we ran towards Ashton's car, Cal gave me a light kiss on my forehead. I couldn't help but blush.

"Stop being cute!" I yell at him before we get in the car.

"Sorry, it's a habit." Cal replied, smirking at my with a devious look.
