"Lucy! Stop kissing the table and eat your breakfast!" My mum scolds me as I reluctantly pull my head from the kitchen table and look at the bowl of cereal she places in front of me. "Sorry mum, I'm just so tired! I was up most of the night studying with Grandpa Crux and-
"You mean cheating and getting Crux to answer all your homework questions?" My mum cuts in, waving a wooden spoon in the air as she continues to make her own breakfast at the stove.
I puff out my cheeks and mumble, "Not all of the answers" before eating my cereal as to avoid saying anything else. She leaves the stove for a minute and turns to say to me sternly, "I know you've recently gotten your celestial spirits but you can't use them for everything. Well, not homework, alright?" She levels her wooden spoon at me and I nod like a bobble head as I try to power eat my cereal. She smiles and turns back to the stove as dad comes down the stairs in his usual brown work suit and tie, his blonde hair is slick back and his piercing blue eyes look as sharp as ever. "Good morning Layla, Lucy." He greets us both as he sits at the round wooden table across from me, picking up the newspaper laid in the centre of the table. I finish my cereal as mum sits down at the table greeting dad as she does, I quickly sit up, say a small 'hi' before running to the hallway and grabbing my school bag from the hook beside the front door. I open the door and shout before going out, "K, I'm off! See you tonight!"

I get to school with no problems and breeze through the front doors of Fairytail High. I've been going to this school for 4 years now and I'm currently in year 10. One more year to go before I graduate! But yeah, with being here for so long the stone walls and orange banners are familiar to me. It's a magic school so when we get into year 10 we can finally start using the magic we've been studying for 3 years. I chose Celestial Key magic, just like my mother, she even gave me her zodiac keys! Seeing as she's given up on her magic... I sigh and continue to walk down the halls when I hear one of my best friends shout from behind me, "Lucy!" I stop and wait for the blue haired book worm to catch up. I turn towards her and smile, "Hey Levy!" I greet her as usual and we continue walking. Levy McGarden is one of my closest friends, she chose Solid Script magic and so far she's been amazing with it, she's wearing her usual orange dress and has got her unruly, short blue hair pulled back into a black headband. "So, how was meeting your spirits?" She asks curiously, oh! That's right, I was so nervous about meeting them at first but I really had nothing to worry about. "It was great! They were all so friendly! Especially Taurus..." I mumble the last part, yeah it may be hard getting him to focus on protecting me, hopefully he won't just be staring at me the whole time... "See Lucy, I told you it would go over fine." Levy smiles and pats my shoulder. "What would go over fine?" I jump a little as my boyfriend, Sting Eucliffe juts in the conversation. He looks just as attractive - if I may say so - as he always does, his blonde hair is spiked and sticking out in all directions with that cute little tuft that sticks out slightly. His dark blue eyes look as intense as ever and he has a thin, diagonal scar above his right. He's just wearing his school uniform with no yellow jumper and his top two buttons undone. He grins at my reaction to his sudden appearance and Levy glares at him showing her obvious disliking for him. "Don't do that!" I shout at him as he starts to chuckle, he continues to laugh when I stick my tongue out at him. I then smile as he smirks in satisfaction, and look to Levy. "Oh come on moody, smile." I poke her cheek and watch as she tries to keep her face in a frown. She's about to give up and grin too when the bell rings signalling form time, off to the homeroom then. I kiss Sting quickly as he turns and says, "k, I'm off to find Rogue, cya." I watch as he leaves, I then turn back to Levy who's shaking her head in disapproval, she mutters, "I still don't like that guy..." Levy doesn't like him as he came from that rivalling school Sabertooth High along with his twin, Rogue Cheney and some white haired girl called Yukino - She looks so much like Lisanna Strauss! - so, I just ignore the comment and nudge her shoulder reminding her, "Come on we've got to move or Miss Mirajane will get worried that we haven't shown up yet and send Ezra to look for us." Levy's eyes widen at the name of our Class rep, Erza Scarlet and she hurries, quick as a cat to homeroom.
